If you bought it on steam, you should also be able to download the Rage Tool Kit. That contains most of the models in md6mesh and lightwave .lwo files. The real "bonus" though is the textures in .tga format which no one has been able to extract from the game. You can open these up in light...

hmmm, something wrong here. tried the new script on some of the Unity3d Raw files kicked out by the earlier script. It kicked out a single file with a wacky name
CAB-62d024b8560c18343a45fc4dff7f5562 and no file extension.

Assets explorer works ok but errors out on some larger assets files.

Aluigi's BMS script apparently doesn't work on what it identifies as "Unity3d Raw" files, only works on "Unity3d Web"

anyone know if the BMS script will be updated to open these "Raw" files?

so, I extracted the edgemodel files from the ssg files using the quickbms script posted here. Most models show up in Noesis using either of the two python scripts here, but many of the main character files, Ada Wong, Four Eyes, etc. are not recognized. Anyone else having the same problem? Updated quickbms should unpack the gameresources.resources file. I hope we will see an updated BMS Script for the Scorchers DLC, the current BMS script errors out before completing the unpack... previous gameresources 1.12 GB unpacked around 800 MB scorchers gameresources 261 MB unpacked only 33 MB ...
