Re: We wish the site to continue (Y/N)
What is necessary to keep the site alive? I guess a webmaster (technical admin) who takes care of the hosting, technical issues, keeping the software up-to-date etc. Then a couple of moderators. And of course money to pay the bills (how much is it per year?) It would be great, if we had some job des...

Re: [DOS] Street Rod (1989)
Wow this is amazing! Does this mean you can freely adjuse the images from SR2? And can you alter the text and background images as well? Would I be able to do it myself (I am a complete modding noob, so it would have to be very basic)? Hi, the tool only works for Street Rod 1 and only for images. T...

Praise the almighty aluigi!
I used his guide to run through all compression algorithms and was able to identify the correct one.
COMP_LZO1X in this case.

Commandos 3 HD PAK compressed files
Hi, does anyone know what compression algorithm was used for those files? I understand the general concept of the compression but can't figure out the details. This is the overall file structure: SDPC -- magic word 97 00 00 00 -- size of the uncompressed file <compressed content> 11 00 00 -- EOF mar...

Re: pl8 format - Lords of the Realm 2, Caesar 2, etc
Hey Prokuneo, that looks fantastic! However, I see a few obstacles: - At the moment we only have a PL8 to PNG converter but no tool to repack the PNGs back into a PL8. - Even if we had a PNG to PL8 converter, the dimensions of the modified tiles would have to match the dimensions of the original til...

[DOS] Street Rod (1989)
You can download the game here: https://www.streetrodonline.com/downloads/ The file structure of Street Rod and Street Rod SE are the same. Here is what I have found out so far about the files from SRSE. HOT_DATA // driver stats byte unknown (maybe skill level?) byte unknown byte unknown byte unknow...

Re: RWBY Mobile game .png files
Could you provide more files?
I think that the files are XORed, with more files it could be possible to obtain the cypher.

Do you have Java installed on your computer?
Also check out 3D Model Researcher (by Lazov) which is much more advanced than my program.

Glad I could help :) I guess 800 is the size of the file header. By the way, those are the filenames of the movies: FE_Movie_Alaska.pmf FE_Movie_Attract.pmf FE_Movie_Bigbiglogo.pmf FE_Movie_Characters.pmf FE_Movie_Credits_Bigbig.pmf FE_Movie_Credits_Loop.pmf FE_Movie_FrontendA.pmf FE_Movie_HighAltit...
