Re: (X360) Marvel Vs Capcom 3
Thanks for the info,so its possible to convert the texture from ps3 file By the way is it possible to convert the model from ps3 ?? Models no, only textures! It's kinda odd how the model formats between games are so different from each other that only one of the two will work. I think that you'd ex...

Re: (X360) Marvel Vs Capcom 3
Another problem. Other than the weighting problem (Taskmaster's cape and pretty much anyone's face are examples of this), there's also a problem with certain models being exported. For example, Tron Bonne's Servbots are able to be exported, but they aren't rigged AND they don't have their UV mapping...

Re: (X360) Marvel Vs Capcom 3
Darn, it doesn't work with the PS3 version's files. Welp, guess I'll have to get the 360 version if I want the models from this game.

Re: MvC3 .ARC files.
I've only ever worked with the MDL0 format, and seeing how others are having problems with the models from MvC3 at the moment, I think that a novice such as myself wouldn't know how to get 'em working...

Re: MvC3 .ARC files.
Ooh, texture hacking! I'd like to see what kinds of alternative textures people could come up with for the existing characters.

Re: Wii Brmdl Model Format
Games that are cross-platform almost never use platform specific formats like the wii's format. Games that use the BRMDL format are usually from japan and made exclusively for the wii. If its a Nintendo game then that is probably the case. On that note, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up is the...

Re: MvC3 .ARC files. Older Capcom .ARC extractors don't work
Well... So far, so good, chrrox. Hope you can figure out how to fix the rest of the problems with importing the models. :) Anyway, as a bit of a heads-up... Capcom announced a costume DLC pack that's gonna be released on March 1st. And yes , it's more on-the-disc DLC, just like Jill and Shuma-Gorath...

As far as I know, Resident Evil 4 uses a completely different model format.Darkfox wrote:What of Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition? It uses BRMDL, yes?

Re: MvC3 .ARC files. Older Capcom .ARC extractors don't work
Eh... I was a bit confused as to what to do, but I figured it out now. At least, I think I have. What's your way of doing it? :D It involved yoinking a header from a random TEX file I found from Resident Evil 5, inserting it into the MvC3 textures, and then using trial and error with the hex values...

Re: GameAssassin RippTool Answers and Questions
yeah that's one hell of a tool Its very expensive Also did that tool can rip perfectly from wii game ?? I'm gonna say right now that it does not rip Gamecube/Wii models in their T-pose (Pokémon Battle Revolution, Dr. Mario and Super Smash Bros. Melee were the few that I tested, and it went from "WY...

Re: GameAssassin RippTool Answers and Questions
So, any luck with that? It's kind of a deciding factor for whether or not I might want to buy that program to export the models I want. Either way, the "Share" version seems to, for the most part, export the models from Dolphin just fine. But would registering it even be worth it? As in, would it ex...

Re: Wii Brmdl Model Format
Sorry to bump/double post but might note that Bomberman Blast has problems with the BRRES files/models, possible encryption or scrambling. mdl0headerfix does not repair it. I can give an example if needed. I have performed a memory dump with dolphin and using the BMS, had to remove a lot of junk da...
