Not to mention that I'd like to rip the cars from it as well.

Re: Barbie and Her Sisters Puppy Rescue hunkfiles

But what about the archives themselves? You want to fully reverse engineering the file structure? That would require much more time than simply extracting the meshes. Ideally yes, assuming one would mod the game for the heck of it. But in my case just extracting things like meshes or textures would...

Re: Barbie and Her Sisters Puppy Rescue hunkfiles

Structure seems simple enough then. But what about the archives themselves?

Wouldn't that be a tall order to do?

Barbie and Her Sisters Puppy Rescue hunkfiles

I know this is kind of a pointless request, but thought I'd ask if this archive format can be easily reverse-engineered or something. It appears to have two parts, one .files file containing some metadata for the archives, and the archives themselves. Here's a link to the samples I took from the gam...

Re: The Last of Us Model Viewer/Extractor (PS4)

Anyone have or know the files from the Left Behind DLC? Been looking into getting at least some of the props from the mall e.g. the American Princess stuff and a few others.

Re: MECC Bitmap Compression

Bumping this so more people can look into reversing the game (and American Girls Premiere for that matter, no thanks to Lazy Game Reviews doing an episode on this).

Love how they still left the GFWL lines untouched even if the game no longer uses the service. :P

[PC] Harley-Davidson: Race to the Rally .ARC

Can anyone here help me rip this archive? It doesn't appear to be a standard .ARC format package, and I don't think it's any similar to the ones used by Nintendo either.

Let me know if you guys are interested in cracking this thing, so that I can PM you a link or two to the files in question.

Re: MECC CBMP Files

I didn't repack it. I was directly modifying the bitmap data in the archive itself at the file's offset just for testing. I have a feeling that repacking is going to be a whole other beast to tackle. From the looks of it it may be similar to the archive formats as used in the early GTA games in ter...

Re: MECC CBMP Files

That's some findings you got there. But how'd you repack the files into their respective archives? The localisation files seem more or less trivial to edit as the strings are exposed and aren't encoded in some weird way, but editing them in a hex editor seems kludgy and as such may not account for l...
