Re: Strawberry Shortcake: The Sweet Dreams Game models

Thanks for breaking it down for me. Sorry for the bump, but how will I convert it on my own? I dunno what to look for in the hex codes first.

Re: Very Basic model format conversion (Shaiya).

This can also apply to any 3D format once you know its structure, right?

Re: Little extractor program

I know you're busy with other things, but would it be nice if you add support for Lemony Snicket's Unfortunate Events PS2/XBOX/GC .RES files?

Re: Mafia The City of Lost Heaven *.4ds

Yeah, I badly needed a 4DS IO script for Max, as it is only available for Zmod, of which I'm not comfortable with, interface-wise. It's been almost a decade since the game first came out but still there ain't no character mods or scripts for other modeling apps.

Re: Petition to Ubisoft to release a DRM-free version of BG&E2

A better alternative to a petition is to tell everyone NOT to buy the shit. Then when they don't get any sales, they'll change their tune. Unfortunately, there are way too many retarded people that will buy the game anyway. I personally would NEVER buy a DRM game. They can kiss my ass on that one. ...

Re: Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events .res files

Thanks, dude. So, was it really an archive or something, or just some Fort Knox of a file? EDIT: Dug up a few more files; turns out that the header seems to vary in size, but I guess it isn't much of a difference. I uploaded animlist.res and fmajor.res (I think these stand for a list of animations a...

Re: avoid rapidshare

Mediafire seems to be a viable option, as it has relaxed rules on downloading, like parallel downloads and stuff.

Re: Petition to Ubisoft to release a DRM-free version of BG&E2

This explains why I absolutely hate DRM. What started as a way to curb piracy has degenerated into a tool of greed and selfishness. I mean look at YouTube and all them media cartels cracking down on parodists using copyrighted material, i.e. subtitle comedies of "Der Untergang" and literal music vid...

Strawberry Shortcake: The Sweet Dreams Game models

I dunno but since I'm browsing and viewing these files just for the lulz, I'm curious as to what's in the files used for the models and most other models. A friend of mine already cracked the audio formats, which are merely scrambled ADPCM (Sony PS2 .VAG) files, but what about the meshes and stuff? ...

Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events .res files

Got this off my GameCube recently, and I was wondering if unpacking these files are possible. I assume that these are archives, based on the fact that most of the asset directories only consist of .res files. The game data itself isn't organised in a way like Grand Theft Auto (i.e. a few large archi...
