Thanks for the answer.
It's a shame because this game has one of the hardest encryption to decode and is one that has less interest in ripping models
despite having interesting cars.
But your choice is perfectly understandable and real life is above all else.
Thanks for what you and Zangano did.

Re: RaceRoom Racing Experience .kluns
Hi As the last post is already 6 months old, I would like to know if the work on the tool is still continuing in order to facilitate the extraction of models with the new encryption, or if, on the contrary, this development has ended completely? I apologize in advance for reviving this old theme and...

Raceroom Textures
Hello everyone Formerly there was a script that worked with quickbms and with which we could extract the DDS textures from the raceroom racing experience game. However due to the new encryption of the files this script no longer works. Does anyone know of a new script that works with this new encryp...

Re: RaceRoom Racing Experience .kluns
Guess you didn't check the "code" in my concerning post? Find the lines in the obj file (here: lynkco car, car_template_3.obj~) where the spoiled vertices begin (very obvious, imho): [...] vt 0.137329 1.472656 v -0.324463 1.050781 -0.132690 line 14879 in notepad, subtract 2, then divide by 2 -> 743...

Re: RaceRoom Racing Experience .kluns
In first place, I appreciate and thank you very much for the availability you showed in trying to help. However I have never been able to learn or understand the Hexa values and their edition. For example in the middle of so many lines that appear in the lower left listbox how can you find out which...

Re: RaceRoom Racing Experience .kluns
I'm trying to figure out how things work so I'm not dependent on the help of other people, but I appreciate your availability Here are two examples where I do not get any .objx files https://www.mediafire.com/file/l910c6v11y55az3/giuliettatcr2019_car_template.rar/file https://www.mediafire.com/file/...

Re: RaceRoom Racing Experience .kluns
" I don't understand what you mean. Some newer kluns required another treatment. I'm sorry to say that I don't have the time to create an easier workaround for those." The only thing I wanted to say is that it was pity the new kluns files have a new and more difficult encryption and the tool does no...

Re: RaceRoom Racing Experience .kluns
Hi Thanks for the answer With the old tool, before the new encryption, it was much easier to get an .obj file to work with. I now, with Make_obj-kluns_raw, also get the models but with much more work and time. My biggest problem is with your tutorial on page 5: "- H2O files 0 to 83 are being created...

Here you have

Some of the textures you have to open in a program editor, such as Photoshop, and save again as DDS

Re: RaceRoom Racing Experience .kluns
There is a script to use with quickbms with which you can extract the DDS textures from the kluns files.
It works fine for me

Re: RaceRoom Racing Experience .kluns
I downloaded the version you posted on the 23rd and the errors disappeared.
Take your time.
Before you did this tool we had nothing of this game, now we have something.
Thank you

Re: RaceRoom Racing Experience .kluns
Great tool.
Unfortunately some files give error and the resulting obj file can not be imported,
you have an example here, can you take a look?
