Re: Half Minute Hero translation (.dct files)
Thanks, now it works, and extracts lots of .dat files, like it splits the file and renames them according to what the .dct had inside. How can I get the text out of these files (or modify the length of the text for instance, so that I can write more stuff in it), and how can I import the .dat's back...

Half Minute Hero translation (.dct files)
Hello there! I'm not making this as a duplicate topic, I just want to ask my question here, too, so that maybe someone can help me. Half Minute Hero just came out on PC, and I thought I'd translate the game. I went through the files (which are stored in appropriately named folders), and found out th...

Re: Half Minute Hero translation (.dct files)
Thank you for your answer, but the first script tells me this when I run it on any file (be it .dct or anything else):
"Invalid operator p"
I tried the other one as well, but it said "0 files" on everything I tried it on :\

Half Minute Hero translation (.dct files)
Hi there! Half Minute Hero has been released on PC, and I'd like to translate it to my language. I've seen the files, and the text is in .dct files. There are some smaller text in .bin files too, but most of it is in the .dct's. Who can help me with these files, and how can I help you (posting some ...

Re: Translate PS1 games (Extract .bin file)
Well for Kagero Deception 2 I know which file I need to translate, and it's a .bin file, and my problem is that I can't redo the ISO, because when I extract it it's bugged and messes up the files. So it's like 350 mb big, I extract the files and it will be only 140 mb, so a lot of data is missing. H...

Translate PS1 games (Extract .bin file)
Hey there guys! Lately I thought of an interesting thing: I want to translate PS1 games. Now I know this is hard, but I'll write down what I've accomplished so far: 1. I need to extract the PS1 files from the disc, because it doesn't work via simple copy -> paste functions. I managed to do this by e...

Re: DeathSpank .gg
Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mention which one has errors. Well I am translating all the games to Hungarian language, and I've finished translating DeathSpank and Thongs of Virtue, and now comes The Baconing. I only tried with DeathSpank's files, but all of those didn't work, no matter what I did. I haven...

Re: DeathSpank .gg
The Baconing just got released, will you make a tool for that too? Hi, use TOV one, it works :-) But Maybe I will release separate tool just to have one for every game. Oh, in that case, thanks :D BTW I have problems with the DDS files, as I can't edit them as I extract them. How should I edit thos...

Re: DeathSpank .gg
I've made some translations, but some text can't be found in the textdict files and if I do find them then they don't get translated. I mean I translate them, they are translated everywhere, but when I'm playing then ingame it's not translated. I think this might be a bug in the program or the extra...

Re: DeathSpank .gg
Well, yes I do ;-) I have simple textdict editor. It is able to export texts to xml and import translated xml back to original format. But this tool is not finished for public release (not localised, not bug free, crappy design etc :-)). Maybe I have to finish it :-D tin files are dds only texture ...

Magicka fonts in .XNB files - Many questions
Hey there guys! There is this game called Magicka, and I'm translating it into my language. The problem is that whenever a Boss' name is displayed or the end of the level (be it defeat or victory), some text isn't displayed correctly (unicode characters, like é-á-ő-ű-ü-ö-ú-ó...etc.). 1. The files ar...

Re: DeathSpank .gg
Hello there!
I want to make a fandub for this game, but I can't put the files back into the .gg archives. Is there a tool or method to do that (and I'm a complete n00b in this)?

Re: Monster Hunter Portable Series *.pmo
Rise from the ashes, very old thread! (or sorry for bumping this thread up) Hello there all! I'd like to extract pmo-s and tmh-s as well, but I don't know how to write a proper code for this. Can someone send me a script or something to extract these files, or write a very detailed guide? I'm über n...
