Re: Maya/3dsMax import script for custom 3d model file format
The old and new format is almost the same. Footer of the new format might have few extra things but other than that it's same.
My friend wrote a tool a while ago which converts the models to .3ds using the information above and the tool works perfectly fine with old AND new models

Re: Maya/3dsMax import script for custom 3d model file format
I know.. That's what I said in the first post that there are plenty of viewers and converters for this format, but all of them convert to formats like .mqo and .3ds, so only the mesh is converted. I want to write a 3dsMax import script or something which would import the model WITH skeletal and ever...

Re: UNITY 3D FBX WITH ANIMATIONS
He didn't make the models or animations. I've made a 3d mario game using Unity engine myself, it was on this games portal called Wooglie, and I didn't make the assets myself either. The models and animations are extracted from some mario game, cant remember the name. I think it's for GameCube or xbo...

Maya/3dsMax import script for custom 3d model file format
Hello I would like to write a script or plugin for either Maya or 3ds Max to import a 3d model from one game. I do have programming experience using several languages and experience in 3d modelling, how ever I've never tried writing any scripts or plugins for any of that software. I'm sure at least ...

Re: Operation Flashpoint : Dragon Rising ... again
errr, you know that you don't need any scripts for merging all those .000, .001 etc files together. Find the file with extension .001, and use 7zip to extract it. It will then extract all of those .xxx files into one 4.2GB file. The script you provided above doesn't work at all with this 4.2gb archi...

Re: Sniper: Ghost Warrior *.rpack archives (PC)
Nope, these .rpack archives don't open with winrar or 7zip
that's the first thing I tried doing after I installed the game

Re: Sniper: Ghost Warrior *.rpack archives (PC)
Sorry for sounding like a noob, but how exactly do I decompress/ convert those extracted files to the normal format they should be? Can you explain it a little bit more detailed, please? never used that offzip and barely ever do any archive research due to the fact that I'm a games programmer, model...

Re: Sniper: Ghost Warrior *.rpack archives (PC)
I tried offzip it just now with options -A and -a, how ever it only extracts A LOT of .dat files named like:
011d4800.dat
011d5000.dat
011d5800.dat
Some please point me to the right direction!
