Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

New debug mode patch released, check the forum if you want it. @Surveyor: What I meant was that, when we swap .lmt files, the motion swap is buggy because the animations are in packages as opposed to one file for each animation. So I'm asking if we can, let's say, swap Dante's running animation with...

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

Sorry for the double post ( I think I'm justified), but did you guys know there's a debug mode in DMC 4? And that you can use it to play with Dante whenever you want? And that it's only available in an obscure version of the game, but we made a patch to make it work in all of them? Read all about it...

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

Thanks a lot for your work. Btw, we're trying to swap animations but it usually get's screwed up because they're crammed together. Is there any way we can switch/extract/insert especific animations between packages?

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

Thanks.
As I said in a previous post, I can't seem to extract using your tool, it crashes but leaves the process open (Same happens to another user and to a friend of mine). I'll assume from what you said that files extracted with your tool have the proper extensions.

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

@Jodan: Missed your post there but we can't import models for these games yet.
@jenner: Cool, thanks ^_^.
Quick question, for the first option, do the modified files need to have their proper extensions (.mod etc.)?

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

I'm sure he'll be sorry once he sees your post but, since it's done already, how about giving us permission to share it? Who knows, someone might put it to good use eventually. And while you're at it you could post some general info about your tool.

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

@eycaramba: So they DO use different formats? Funny.
Anyway, when i said this: "MHF's format is not the same, we've been able to extract dmc 4 .arcs for ages."
I meant the benchmark XD

@Rygdea: Yeah, that DMC 4 unpacker/repacker doesn't unpack at all. It seems to repack fine though.

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

I said MHF BENCHMARK
You're gonna tell me now that they use different formats in the benchmark? Don't think so.

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

@Herdell: Did that tool come from the DMC4 translation project? Anyway, thanks, I can think of a few uses for it.
@eycaramba: MHF's format is not the same, we've been able to extract dmc 4 .arcs for ages. I wish we could extract MHF's too though...

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

The year-end for me is just another day in my life, it will not tell me in any way how my last year was or how my new year will be. Which doesn't mean it can't be a good day, right? And I spent the 31 dec night working on a philipino ship and the crew weren't friendly at all, no party, no juice, no...

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

Hey, Surveyor? I've been testing your new tools. Here's some feedback. dds2tex: It works fine, but with a few oddities. 1: For a given texture, the final filesize is smaller than the original. Which doesn't seem to affect anything. Although it might have something to do with 2: Judging from what you...

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

Send me money instead :) and btw, you have some nice stuff over there, I especialy liked the "Dante has too many swords!, An updated re-release" thing! What's that, you want more *happy thoughts*? Sure! Good thing you didn't ask for money. And glad you liked that pack, there's more on the...

You mean those 00 right next to each variable or something else? Aren't those just separators?

Re: [PC] Resident Evil 5

How about those *m* variables, any info on them and how they work? E.G. mAtackType.
