Re: XWB to WMA: Stream Properties Object, Codec Specific Dat

hard to find anything other than the code-specific data structure you already have. a few of my searches point to vlc or ffmpeg though, so i'd trawl through some of their sourcecode

if you haven't already, try the msdn forums?

Re: Raider Z

gotten any further with those bones?

i cant make much sense of the face information - there are vertex and uv indexes (both tables are easy to read), and some seem to repeat themselves. its also fustrating to see maiet updating their elu format without changing the version with 0x5007 elu files.

Re: .TBD archive format (Metal Fatigue) - a challenge?

the sections have different structures: TYPE uint FileCount for each FileCount: uint LookupHash, uint DataPointer the lookup hash is checked from a list (??) from pSymbolTable plaintext files may not be listed here (eg. sound.tbd) IMPT (expecting EXPT to be the same) uint FileCount for each FileCoun...

Re: .TBD archive format (Metal Fatigue) - a challenge?

i admire your persistence! edit found an old beta for the missing dll. the header is read as 12 bytes [expecting "LIST" or "RIFF" as the signature | followed by remaining size | followed by "TBDF"] looks for these segments (in order): TYPE, IMPT, EXPT, OFFS, DATA segmen...

Re: Raider Z

nice, will try this later. hoping we can get models moving soon :) the elu files are models, ani files are animations. the elus differ from gunz in that their texture information is in a seperate xml file but the format looks quite similar. i couldnt spend much time on this, but when comparing the ...

the first 12 bytes of all the extracted files is another ram header:

Code: Select all

uint32 RAM;
uint32 VRAM;
uint32 OtherRAM;
uint32 OtherVRAM;
so dont rely on this value - use filesize2 instead!

Re: Mafia II SDS files?

yeah, the xml description holds information for the engine to allocate memory as well as the filenames. the headers have 16 bytes+, but some dds headers have 30 bytes, some 29 - and neither have filenames. edit: the files may be handled by resource type - i left the headers commented out, but they m...

Re: Mafia II SDS files?

final version #2 !

note:
dumped files will have 30 bytes or so of random data at the start. i cant find the size of this to remove it, so work with it 8)

removed the naming-by-resource-type. you can name them yourself from the xml.

this should be all.
