Re: Writing an archive viewer
i'm not familiar with c# in any way, but you only need store all the file data in an array(or vector or similar) and have the tree items hold an index so the file data array.

Re: RaiderZ filesystem
i have finally downloaded the client (r34991)! skyflox has more detail on the extraction here - http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?p=76680#p76680 but my dumper uses exactly the same code, so nothing has changed the xor-ing used by the fileindex is in-use for Z3Ex - https://gist.github.com/3040921...

Re: Inversion (2012) [PC]
WRS: I wouldn't call your efforts wasted. Your tool needs only to be improved to allow the repacked locale text to be used by the game engine. from how i understand it, i just gave the wrong file to patch: The pure game (without update) reads the texts from out.s3darc . The usage to get the texts a...

Re: Inversion (2012) [PC]
when you do the repacking (with option 'p') the s3darc filenames you give must be different. once the patcher has created the new file, it replaces out_patch.s3darc I apologize, but this one still eludes me. You mean the created file is to replace the "old" out_patch file, am I right? If ...

Re: Inversion (2012) [PC]
I gave a try to your patcher, did just like you wrote, but the text remains English whatever I do. I tried renaming english.txt to locale.txt, and even tried putting the patched file next to out_patch, and also overwriting the out_patch file. None of them has worked so far. Is there a "trick&q...

Re: Inversion (2012) [PC]

Inversion .s3darc
the localization has been mentioned already: http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=9187&hilit=inversion and there are other games which use this format or one similar which i've not tested. # Inversion *.s3darc (PC) extractor # QuickBMS script by WRS (xentax.com) # NOTE: extracted fil...

Re: Clever & smart: A movie adventure
there looks to be a header at position 32 in the nkr file which consists of the xor key (0xA3) followed by the extension (".txt") i updated my script, which is now split into an extractor and repacker: (see comments) # extract the nkr file # WRS (xentax.com) # read 5 byte info at position ...
