I think skeletons are in a different file. If you have a samples I can take a look at them. Chances are they're the same or nearly the same as Dead Space's skeleton files. I haven't been able to figure out how Visceral Games' skinning works so you'll have to skin it yourself. thanks killercracker, ...

Hello, completely new here, So I am doing some tests and each time when I extract the models from this game using the max script I end up with no textures but a lot of weird colors, I am on a totally vanilla Max 2017, I don't know if there is something specific to setup for it to take the textures ...

Well, in fact I'm not quite sure if those data are actually vertex color coz except for the cars, I havn't seen one model using these data as vertex color fully makes sense to me. I can't seem to get the textures to load automatically in Blender or 3DS Max. I'm importing the island Drake SMD in blender. All DDS textures with the name Drake have been converted to TGA and are in the same folder as the SMD file. Whenever imported into Blender/3DS there is no texture associated ...

with just this line of code(?): "C:\Program Files (x86)\noesis\Noesis.exe" ?runtool "&Model merger" <file> where do you have that line from? I made it based on the help doc from noesis folder I assume the tool has evolved to tool_batchload_context.py . Try out Batch process ...
