Replace textures with fonts :) What... Why not just do that with the PC version? What im trying to explain is that the PC verion is upported so havign the PS2 version of the SAME GAME is very unlikely to happen, MAINLY because chipping the PS2 is illegal and I doubt Turfster will want to help suppo...

Structure of STAGE.DAT file from MGS2 PS2 is different that GameGube TS STAGE.DAT? Of course it does. But Solidus supports MGS2 TS STAGE.DAT anyways. Well, thanks very much as always for your continued support. Twin Snakes' textures now?! This gets more and more exciting! If only I could experiment...

Maybe try makign a BASIC object from SCRATCH in maya and them exporting it with its texture to an OBJ file. then RE-IMPORT the .obj fiel into MAYA once you have closed and reopened the program. Then youl be able to tell if its a problem with the GENERAL obj plugin or just a certian thing about the M...

One more argument in favour of zlib. You try compress stage.dat (with any archiver)? You see a low compress ratio for archive... a think becouse stage.dat already compressed. Compare uncompressed PC stage.dat folder (mgs2) with PS2 stage.dat... We have 4000Mb vs. 600 Mb. I dont think that dds-textu...

Hum I did not read this thread entirely, but is there a way to extract sounds from VOX.DAT ? I have extracted BGM.DAT thanks a lot to solidus and its maker, but VOX.DAT seems not to be a supported filetype. I tried Extractor, I don't if there is any other program to extract this file. Any idea ? Ar...
