Re: All things XMA

UPDATE

Something with the heuristics was wrong, so I skipped some automated blocksize identification. This will be implemented later on anyway.

Re: All things XMA

Update I just made the script a little bit better to use with the introduction of the BLOCKSIZE variable: For the first run, only select one file and set the blocksize variable to "" (empty). The script will try to parse the file with the most common block sizes (stated in the file name)....

Re: My quickBMS scripts

WAVE format scanner Long overdue script for a proper wave scanner. I know there are many raw scanner which have a *.wav option but they only find very certain wave files. I've encountered none that supports big endian wave files with RIFX identifier so far. My old script didn't work properly and I ...

Re: Max Payne 3 .awc audio files

Tried all kinds of codecs, but somehow I didn't come up with anything. Anyone got an idea about the interleave? Maybe it changes all the time (maybe that's what the table each 512kB is for?).
Any help on this is appreciated. ;)

That's the answer to your question. Any other searchstring will return other results. The script splits files at the given searchstring.

Re: WINtA Music (.dat)

Crappy format... Used many workarounds to get anything at all. Ok, first you'll need to split up the dat file with my gensplit script here: http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4450&p=45460#p45460 Variables are OFFSET 0, SKIP 0 NEGBIAS 0, the searchstring is "War Is Not the Answ...

Re: Red Faction/Summoner PS2 (.VMU)

Tip: Only resort to MFAudio if you have no idea whatsoever! The player isn't developed any further since several years. For these files: 1. use my SS2 header adder with OFFSET 0xc, CH 2 and INTERLEAVE 0x4000: http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&p=44717#p44717 2. as they have an incomplete...
