Re: [REQ] PC Eradicator (c) 1996 Accolade
Woohoo! More progress then! :D Thanks SO much for the info GameZelda and Darkfox, I'll be checking it out! :) *edit* Sounds ripped already, now for the graphics. I can't seem to be able to reproduce the results with TiledGGD, not even when using the settings 1:1 to those in the screengrab... :( As f...

Re: [REQ] PC Eradicator (c) 1996 Accolade
Ah, I was wondering whether there would be more in the main file, or if I had its purpose wrong. Thanks for the quick fix GameZelda! :) So, this means they used their own (non-standard) file format with the graphic/sound resources? No wonder generic rippers can't produce meaningful files. ;) I was s...

Re: [REQ] PC Eradicator (c) 1996 Accolade
Wow, I never imagined getting a response to this, let alone so quickly! 8D Thank you so much! While I now managed to decompose the MAIN.RID file, the resulting files don't make much sense; they lack a file extension and the headers aren't too helpful either as they differ for each file. I think I'll...

[REQ] PC Eradicator (c) 1996 Accolade
I'm looking for a ripper for the DOS FPS game Eradicator . You can download the game here , I expect the MAIN.RID file to contain the desired resources. Basically the (now abandoned) tool XWE, source available states it has Eradicator support , but it doesn't seem to work. Still, the source code mig...

Well, the problem with the movies is the fact that the devs seem to use their own codec, with a decoder for it added to the game. I can't play nor recode the movies from outside the game. :( Furthermore, TMPGEnc does not find any audio information in the movie file, and I'm specifically looking for ...

The movie it's a dreamcast movie, you can recode with "Dreamcast Movie Maker" I tried that, yet the program does not seem to be able to DECODE the movie, only ENCODE movies to said Dreamcast movie format? I did some googling and found http://neo-igc.tripod.com/Tutorials/downsample_dc.txt which deal...

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
I was wondering if adding support for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance would be doable. I haven't been able to find a demo for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, so the only real test would be to test it with the retail DVD release. Here's a quick tree of the game's folders: +---actors +---automaps +---conversatio...

Attack of the Saucerman! (old PC game)
I couldn't find a demo for this game, and as I don't have a clue what function the respected data files have, I uploaded a sample from the full game: http://rapidshare.de/files/15820657/SaucerMan__Sample.rar.html (15MB). Here's what I do know: Attack of the Saucerman! uses sprites and sounds, I'm gu...
