Re: Yuke's Pacific Rim .yobj

Something's definitely wrong there, but It's for sure the right model file. Maybe it has to do with the face/vertex indices? (I wouldn't exactly know, as I'm not too acquainted with hex side of model extraction just yet.) To give a better idea how it should look: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/1e/fd...

Yuke's Pacific Rim .yobj

Hello, everyone, I need some help with a model format I've been taking a look at. I've been wanting to see if I could try to extract the models from a now unavailable Pacific Rim game. However, I have not been able to extract the model data itself. I've already extracted the files from their .pac fi...

Re: Help needed with Hex2Obj/MechWarrior 4

Bumping this, since it's been a while. If anyone here needs more files to go about finding a decryption method, I should have all of the mechs from the Mektek release that have non-encrypted version, so I can upload those ones as well. I really just need someone with proper decryption knowledge to t...

Re: Metal Gear Solid (series) - Tools

Just so you know, there's already a tool for noesis that can import MGS1 models with skeletons and animations (Since I'm assuming you are referring to MGS1 models).

Though it only works for the PlayStation version of the game, not the PC one.

Re: ...is this the uncrackable one?? (.zm and .zm2) Carnevil Arcade

I'd assume that you would be using 2.8+, so this is for those versions 1. Select the model. 2. Go to the materials section (checkered sphere). 3. Switch the material from whatever Noesis exported to "Principled BSDF". (depends) 4. Locate the "Base Color" section. 5. Click the yellow dot, and switch ...

Re: Help needed with Hex2Obj/MechWarrior 4

So, in regards of the Mektek encryption, I think I'm just gonna have to ask anyone with good decryption knowledge on here if they can take a look at the encryption. I have very little experience with encryption/decryption, so I can't really do anything about it. If anyone thinks they could try to so...

Re: MechWarrior 4: MekTek File Encryption Breaking

Actually, there's already a blender script for 2.92.

mariokart64n came along and coded a python script that lets you import base game .erfs (Vengeance, Mercenaries, and Black Knight).

I actually made a topic about this (this and the .erf files in general) a while back, you can find it here:

Re: Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2) Noesis Plugin (Models, Anims)

And just to clarify, this also happens with the Prototype Ray too.

And in the Prototype's case, it also seems to be missing textures.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2) Noesis Plugin (Models, Anims)

Just wanted to let you know about something

For some reason, the textures on the Mass Produced Ray seem to display weirdly in Noesis (mostly an invisible texture issue.)

Alright, good to know

I'll see if I can just put the textures in blender then.

I've been trying it with the PC version, so that could be why.

Re: Metal Gear Solid (PS1) Noesis Plugin (Models, Anims)

I do need some help with the plugin though.

How exactly do I get the textures to auto-apply?

I put the .dar that contains REX's textures in the same place I put the model files, but they don't seem to be applying.
