Re: Jaeder Naub users - I need some help!

Im going to download some other rippers and make some fair comparisons. Allready working on new fixes in a yet unreleased jaeder naub, with more speed ups to the actual dumping, and enabling of some formats that broke when making the new engine. Edit: Tested Game File Explorer, and it is faster, but...

Re: God of War Chains of Olympus .BIN file

Beyond doubt they all (atleast all I investigated) contains VAG ADPCM data. im not sure thats the information you where looking for, but they are all audiofiles, except they lack a proper VAG Header. recreating this header made all samples playable. Edit: and yes, some files contains text aswell, as...

Re: Wii - VC - Neogeo - Game.bin.z file -decompress and compress

is the file you want to unpack the game.bin.z? or did i miss something?
since the game.bin unpacks fine here using zlib decompression, it depacks into a 50MB ROM file.

Edit: aha, you need to recompress it aswell. now i understand.

Re: Operation Flashpoint : Dragon Rising

You know what? I just noticed something, its not 128x64 in size. the DDS header is wrong hahahaha, the image seems to be 128x128,
so half of the imagedata gets lost with that DDS header.

Re: Operation Flashpoint : Dragon Rising

Ahhhhh, for exporting into the game you would need to copy over the header of the first STF file, and then instead remove the DDS header from your manipulated DDS file,
and put the original header back again, that should work :o

Re: Operation Flashpoint : Dragon Rising

First, Yes, you need Nvidia DDS Plugins. Secondly, open the STF file in a hexeditor and delete their header until you reach the DDS data. the DDS data starts at 2048, so delete everything before that, then recreate a DDS header (example in the zip) before the DDS data, and save. this should now be o...

Its DDS/DXT1 data with an own header. so in other words, my mom could do this.

Re: MONSTER.SOG of Day of the Tentacle (Maniac Mansion 2)?

Do you mean the MONSTER.SOU file? I cannot find a MONSTER.SOG in my installation.
Providing sample files are good, not everyone have all games installed, so it will help you getting a faster response and more accurate.

Re: Bully Scholarship Edition (PC) RSM audio?

The XWB files contains VAG data without a proper VAG header. i slapped a VAG header ontop of them and the program converted them to WAV just fine.
the XSB files however doesnt really contain any data at all.

Re: [Wii] Tales of Symphonia 2 - Skit Mugshots

Best results ive had so far was slapping a DXT1 header over the image at resolution X=336, (Y doesnt matter at the moment) and byteflipping the whole texture data by 16 bit. (So that A B becomes B A). thats when it actually starts too look like something. Edit: I would assume this is either a DDS va...

Re: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X - GFX File.

in some of the files im seeing 8 bit bitmaps without any compression whatsoever.
and in some files im not really sure, its certainly not graphics or sound in all this files. cannot say that i see anything that resembles any kind
of compression so far. but then again, there are many many files.
