You need to try out different FVFsizes, 32 etc.
Thank you, I've changed it from 48 to 64 and it works well :D

Re: Extracting simple models

Hi, I'm working on some files for practical purpose and then I've encountered this file https://i.imgur.com/SXcapLv.png After doing some research, I assume this file is a kind of DW - TriStrip FFFF, which was said that hex2obj couldn't handle in one thread. https://i.imgur.com/hHnvKtr.png However, s...

Re: [Noesis] Parsing bones

You need to print out the parenting IDs to understand whether they fit. And the bone names list may help to start with important bones only: Thank you for your suggestion, I have done the name part :D , it looks better than hex data by using data viewer of noesis, which helped me realize that I was...

Re: [Noesis] Parsing bones

First of all: update for use of parenting indices is missing in your script in the opening post. Parent index is still -1 for all bones: bones.append( NoeBone(i, boneNames , boneMat, None, -1) I've done it, my current issue is I can't figure out what the parent index of each bone is as it has no cl...

Re: [Noesis] Parsing bones

i don't want say something stupid, but that red lines you usually see in Noesis, aren't how bones are parented-linked ? in your picture i think every bone is standalone I got your point, I tried to find the parentIndex and this is the result: https://i.imgur.com/2BWAYpX.png I assumed those bytes ar...

[Noesis] Parsing bones

Hi, after successfully completing my first noesis script, now I'm learning how to parse bone data to apply it in mine. I've consulted this thread from Bigchillghost and understand somehow to get bone data well but imprecisely. This is a demo of my noesis script used to read bones: def noepyLoadModel...

Re: [Noesis]Help with vertex count

Obviously I know it as I have worked on this file by using hex2obj :D. That mesh was just a test to help me know if I was on the right track.

Otherwise, I'm trying to figure out the way to work with all remaining submeshes.

That's very kind of you, I fully appreciate it :]

Re: [Noesis]Help with vertex count

makes it all easy. you can access the description and data at the same time and composite/compile whatever you need in the process. This is my first attempt to write a script, that's why I wanted to make it basic as it could be and handle a single file only. However, due to your example code and ch...

[Noesis]Help with vertex count

Hi, I'm a newbie in parsing 3d model. I'm learning to write my own Noesis script. I have a question: Based on my knowledge in using shakotay's hex2obj, I know that we have 3 ways to get the vertex count: - It is defined in the data - Divide vertex block length by 1-vertex stride length - Max face in...
