Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Ah, that's the point. MakeH2O generate .obj files that don't support multi UV channel. I guess you have to play with the 44444444, 88888, 12121212, 161616 thing in the tool, or to use 3Dsimed to have .dae or .fbx. Ok managed my way thru 3dsimed. It is unable to load the full carbin of the car, but ...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Sorry again but there's something strange in the UV map... it seems there should be another texture from this map http://thumbnails101.imagebam.com/54765/0ed59e547643279.jpg Nothing strange, the UV you are showing are in the UV channel 1 for the front wheel and you try to use it with the picture fo...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

What cars you have opened? When I try to import acu_nsx_16.carbin for example, 3DSimED3simple shuting down with "Program stop working..." yep, like i said work on MODELBIN for horizon 3 cars, works on carbin only for APEX cars. Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

http://sim-garage.co.uk/3dsimed3-download/ 3DSimED seems to work now on the modelbin. Scaling and uv seems mostly O.K. But its only 20 days trial so be fast to use it :( Don't know if there is a batch script for that, but i had to import each modelbin one by one. Don't forget to use the export plug-...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

First, thank you for all your work!! (rmh, seems noone is really interested in automatic positioning any more, well I leave you alone with this, since I gave the idea how to perform it by python script.) Second, i totally agree. Honestly, it takes me 15/20 mn for each model to move the parts at the ...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

To Sonik, i will send you the files if you want, i used J5 and Blender for import (and for what is worth, on a 32 bits WIN 7). And now i have a full AMC rebel :D How do you know what parts goes on what bone? the names doesn't match and is quite difficult to identify some parts To be honest, i don't ...
