Re: Your opinion on the ethics of reverse engineering

Hello, Here's my POV, for me there are the guys who create the tools and the guys who use these tools, I'll talk about them both. I personnaly don't care about juridistics when it comes to making game extraction/export tools, I fully understand that the thing is illegal, for every game you install o...

Re: Ninety Nine Nights 2

Hello, Here's the MESK exporter, it's experimental only so there's no UV coords, no normals, just proper skinning (and this isn't nothing) The exporter is very easy to use, it generates an MS file that you'll need to drag into 3dsmax, Just make sure the .joint file is also there since it holds the s...

Re: Ninety Nine Nights 2

The MNKS extractor: Will parse the mnks files and extract some useful data (models and anims) the rest of the data is ignored since every type needs its own parser (and there are many). Put the program in the MNKS directory, there is an mnks list that you can modify to your own needs. One thing I'm ...

Re: Ninety Nine Nights 2

Hi,
Now here's the stage exporter, it processes MEST files and outputs OBJ files, only position data is hanldled right now, no tex UV's or colors, maybe when when we have working textures.
Enjoy.

Re: Ninety Nine Nights 2

This tool works on the mcts files that hold the stages, put it in the MCTS directory and execute, the 65 MCTS files must all be present. The good thing about those mcts files is that they contain filenames, which means that the extracted data will have correct names. The bad thing is that the so cal...

Re: Ninety Nine Nights 2

Ok, first things first, we need to extract the data out of those fpd files, unfortunately, I couldn't decode the filename table, the archive structure is the same as Lost Odyssey, only offsets and sizes are visible, and thus a lot of data will be ignored, but as long as we can locate the models, we'...

Ninety Nine Nights 2

Hi there, how are things,
There is this game (N3-2) that I've been messing with and I was able to extract the models, both stages and characters, these aren't the best models out there but it was worth the effort. More to come soon.

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

did you guys know there's a debug mode in DMC 4? And that you can use it to play with Dante whenever you want? And that it's only available in an obscure version of the game, but we made a patch to make it work in all of them? Thanks man, that's good to know. Btw, we're trying to swap animations bu...

Re: [PC] Devil May Cry 4

Hi, Here's the dmc4 motion exporter, so how do we use this thing? There is a text file attached with the program, you'll use that, it is self explanatory: write the path of the lmt file you want to process, the model file it belongs to and an output path (where the scripts will be created), don't us...

Hi,
I fixed the texture extractor and now it works for every texture size, including the ones smaller than 128x128. I just thought some people might still be intrrested so here it is :)

Re: Onechancara Models: Can Someone Make Vertex Dumper

Here you go, the oneechanbara model converter, it converts the models into collada, I found this format to be very handy (very hard too) since it handles most of what we need here. In addtition to typing the filename, you will need to provide a user friendly name to be used in models names, using so...

Re: Onechancara Models: Can Someone Make Vertex Dumper

Hi, There's some more progress on the Oneechanbara TGF models, I used collada and this format is very handy, the stupid normal bug isn't there anymore and I think the missing parts are now present, materials are displayed in viewport so you don't have to set them by hand (all the parameters are alre...
