The meshes no longer have their original UV's.
My bad. Forgot to restore the code after the debugging stage. :D
Tool reuploaded now.

Re: JX3 HD Remake 剑网3 (.dat files)

I wonder how the developer even keep track on all their models/texture with all these kind of names... Just downloaded the game out of curiosity. Now I can tell you that it's really simple. The game provides options for users to manage assets on their drive, so that they can remove and download the...

Re: Titanfall 2/Apex Legends

So its not possible to add textures to models? How have i seen others do it? Cause they're not dealing with the files taken directly from the starpak arcs. While the msh files generated with my script contain enough info to convert the assets within, however, the tex files have no info about the im...

Re: Titanfall 2/Apex Legends

But is it possible to apply the textures to the models yet? It's not. The tex files contain merely raw pixel data without any header and it's unlikely to determine the height and width and the pixel format based on the file size. You may use the tool that deals with the rpak arcs mentioned above to...

So ive unpacked the starpack files and as asked above all the files are .tex or .msh.
Here is a msh to FBX convertor if it's needed. All meshes of all LODs are preserved and grouped like this in a scene:

Tested on msh files from pc_all(01).starpak only.

What program do you use for opening .msh files?
It's hex2obj that I used to load one of the meshes. But thing is getting more complicated than I expected. Might take a little while to figure out the relation between the vertex IDs and the data.

Re: Help with chunzstd.

Superb, does it means that can fix the dull textures I don't have the texture file you're talking about. But the results of the two in this thread look fine to me. actully convert dxt5 to dxt1? No, there's no actual convertion between different pixel formats. All data is taken from the file directl...

Re: Help with chunzstd.

here is Noesis python script to open the decompressed rx3 file. Nice work Ace! :D Alright this is made just for fun — or if anyone feels it helpful — an rx3 unpacker/convertor to pvr format preserving all mipmaps: RX3Unpacker.zip Since BC5 encoded pvr images won't load by my PVRTexTool I'll save al...

Re: Help with chunzstd.

Well there's indeed a small issue in the code where the script trys to read past the end of the file. But QuickBMS didn't consider it an error? Might just be lucky. It's fixed now in v0.1.2 script.

Re: Titanfall 2/Apex Legends

You can use the following BMS commands to unpack the starpak archives: idstring "SRPk" # starpak goto -8 0 SEEK_END savepos entryOffset get entryCount longlong set entrySize longlong entryCount math entrySize * 0x10 math entryOffset - entrySize log MEMORY_FILE entryOffset entrySize get Path basename...

Re: How to generate tile faces based on vertices?

Here is my idea: (feel free to correct me) Why not just run your code and see if it works? :D for y1 in range(8): x1 = (x*9)+1 x2 = (x*9)+y1+2 x3 = (x*9)+y1+3 if y1 == 7: x3 = (x*9)+0+2 output = output + "f %d/%d/%d %d/%d/%d %d/%d/%d\n" % (x1,x1,x1,x2,x2,x2,x3,x3,x3) I'm sure it'd be much simpler a...

Re: Should we upgrade the forum to phpBB 3.2.5?

If I had a good handle on how the report system works, I would suggest to report those posts so mod could update the link(s) in them (this would also work for any other posts). However, if reporting impacts the poster's account in some way (e.g. if we had a karma system, and reported posts counted ...

Re: Should we upgrade the forum to phpBB 3.2.5?

If you feel like it, you can always go through your old posts and check any images, updating them to HTTPS where possible (or reuploading them to a service with HTTPS support and updating the relevant post(s) accordingly). It's done. One problem remains though. I can't change what other user...
