If I'm correct most 3DO games use SDX2 (Squareroot Delta Exact 8bit DPCM), which can be supported by foobar2000 with the vgmstream component:

Try installing the vgmstream component for foobar2000, which can be found here:
https://www.foobar2000.org/components

With it, like mono24 said, it plays fine.

Also a little side-note, if you replace this line in Acewell's script from:

Code: Select all

string NAME p "%s\%s" FOLDER NAME
to

Code: Select all

string NAME p "%s\%s.msv" FOLDER NAME
That will extension the files to .msv which is playable with foobar + vgmstream component. :)

Yes, this is true. Sometimes you have to rename certain extensions as the vanilla version of foobar takes priority in reading sound files first before vgmstream. Renaming then allows vgmstream to be prioritized as foobar doesn’t know what to do with the extension.

You’re opening the input archive wrong. You should first select the *.bms, and then a *.seb (not the vgmstream.txth file!) and then an output folder.
