Hi, sorry to resurrect this thread, but I'm having an issue with Sadira's mesh. I imported it using the latest MaxScript, and not only was it missing rigging, but it was also providing broken UVs on certain sections ( https://vgy.me/WIMbDr.png ) . SMD only supports 3 vertex weights, but beyond that, it's got great importers for most 3d software apps and it's easy to export.

Adding onto this, I had to open the files with VLC Player to convert them. For some reason, Audacity would crash when opening, and most other re-encoders failed.

Also, I've started building a list of broken meshes in the OP. If you find any issues with rigging/UVs, PM me or make a post and I can add it. A frontend tool might be useful for people without the time to check the wiki for naming, but I don't think it's entirely necessary. It certainly could save some time though! How do you intend to get the "pretty names" for meshes, as the user in-game would see?

My friends and I noticed a pattern. In general, submeshes with the name "Object" have broken or entirely missing UVs, usually the latter.

Still no UVs on Aria's boots for whatever reason, but it seems that everything else is golden!

Ah, that would make sense. Well, thanks, and I'm very excited for next revision! Also, I'd like to note that the update 1 version still has issues with UVs on certain submeshes, such as aria_acc00_area_c.kimesh and the rings on Spinal's boots.

Edit: It seems that in 3ds max 2012, it isn't grabbing all of the submeshes? talking about Sadira's missing head? Couldn't find it so far in the kimesh - it might be in a separate one. Actually, for some reason, it isn't importing every piece of any character. When I try to import Aria myself, none...
