The game uses the same models for first person and third person as far as I know. you can really tell with certain guns, especially when the night vision goggles effect is on in first person.

Re: Exporting Fate/Unlimited Codes sounds (not music or voic

You could also scan those three files with Psound . it's much faster and auto detects each individual stream. Wow thank you very much too! Before your post i used above method and it forced me to "cut" all sound files by myself. But PSound do it automatically. You save me a lot of time, thanks =) n...

Re: Exporting Fate/Unlimited Codes sounds (not music or voic

Yes I did try it :) You'll need vgmstream to get the interleave and you'll need it to be able to playback the GENH files as well. Download vgmstream and these external DLLs for vgmstream Place the in_vgmstream.dll in Winamp's 'plugins' folder. Put everything else including the external DLLs in the ...

I'm extremely confused. this joke thread has gone so far it's hard to tell if everyone even knows it's a joke.

Wanted to post a big thanks to you Serge. Using the unpacker I was able to disable FXAA, I'm gonna try injecting SMAA later. Re: MGS The Twin Snakes vox.dat

well, it's not that it's skipping around, that's how it's stored. it decoded fine. the game then splices together bits from each file once it loads them into memory. I don't know why they did it this way, but they did.

Re: Sound Formats for “Lightsaber Battle” and “Clone Trooper

Actually, one of the sounds was in Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight , but the sound I want is right here: https://youtu.be/cGnMYyBskFc?t=3m7s. Oh THAT one. I hear that one everywhere. kinda annoying that when the game devs get the sounds from lucas, they ALWAYS modify a few, including that one. I've hea...

Re: Sound Formats for “Lightsaber Battle” and “Clone Trooper

I’m curious to know if anybody has attempted to analyze or decipher the file format for these games: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxoxZAijW60 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGnMYyBskFc&index=13&list=WL It’s probably unheard of to attempt to do such a thing for plug-and-play games, but I like th...

Re: Kinect Star Wars Audio Format and Extraction Methods

I’ve got the PS2 version, but how would I use the program on it? How would I be able to get a PS2 game onto the computer exactly? ps2 discs use a standard DVD filesystem I think, typically you can just put them in your dvd-rom drive and view the files inside. xbox and gamecube games didn't let you ...

Re: [REQUEST] - Prototype 2 quickBMS script

you can use one tool p3d_and_radp_tools but radp2wav not work's for prototype 2 at this time so progress is in 75% you just have to change the header in each radp, to delete the 10bytes or so before the actual "RADP" part, then they work fine. my friend "egor" on a different forum just found this out

Re: PSP music stored in .bin?

Converted the game (Umihara Kawase PSP) from CSO to ISO, successfully extracted the ISO, found the music folder, which contains a 5MB "music.bin" file. Header looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/kmNuHhO.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kmNuHhO.jpg Any ideas how to extract the music? Any tools available? Edit...

Re: Halo Online [.dat]

WOW. I can't believe I missed that thanks Pepper. yup. one of the reasons I always just try to import as raw data and see if it looks right-ish. It's an easy step to not do, because almost all common audio files have a legible header. RIFF, VORBIS, LAME, etc. but when I dragged it into goldwave to ...

Re: Halo Online [.dat]

Alot of the files that arent fsb are mpeg (v1, not mp3) audio, rename .mpg and open in almost anything

infact, seems to be one of the standard fsb audio format compression used, but without fsb header.
