Re: Unity Studio
Hi. I have to say this is a very useful program! I am having issues trying to open extracted Texture2D and audio files. After converting an image from .dds to .png by renaming the extension, I get this error trying to open it in another program saying that the file format is not supported, despite ...

Re: Unity Studio
Hello Chipicao! I was looking trough Drift Spirits (Japanese only title) and found that all the UnityCache files look different than in any other game I saw before. Moreover, they cannot be opened with 3DSMax Scripts or Unity Studio. (Even if you change file name to something silly such as CAB-3UI52L...

Re: Gran Turismo 2 export/import [Request]
As you may have noticed (seems some people have not) times have changed in this forums. People like chrrox and zaramot for example with countless contributions are not that actice any more like they used to be in the past. Other experts seem to concentrate on RL (family, studying, whatever). So cha...

Gran Turismo 2 export/import [Request]
Hello there! :) Apperantly, there's now a tool which allows you to repack GT2.VOL file. It means that you can swap cars, tracks etc. (Only extractor was available before it) Quite a while ago I did my own "research" on GT2 models but couldn't go very far. Every car has 3(at least) lods and 2...

Re: Unity Studio
Hi
I was looking trough some assets and noticed that Unity Studio detects cubemaps but doesn't export them
Is that a bug or it's impossible to extract them?

Autolegends USSR .ovd (Moscow racer)
Hello everyone! :) This game contains unique (and indeed, very nice) models of USSR cars and I found a couple of topics on it on xentax. Getting the textures out doesn't seem to be a big deal(I used the ninja Ripper to do it) and there's a script for it(as far as I get it right) but the models are st...

Re: .SWF Flash(?) 3D Models
The thing is that people were telling me that there are no 3D models in "flash" area but they are indeed 3D models :D So I don't really know how could it work...It should end up like a lowpoly car with detailed textures. It's not that much if a needed thing, just the fact that this thing ex...

.SWF Flash(?) 3D Models
Hello everyone! I've found a game that seems to be made on flash and indeed,it has 3D models in it. I wonder if there's a way to convert them to .OBJ or somrthing like that? Every model comes as .SWF file and seems to contain both 3D model and textures Here are the examples http://www.mediafire.com/...

Re: Codemasters common .BDL audio archive
I also can hear in the game sounds of engine startups, exhaust and others, are they inside? No, the only thing inside of these files you sent me is of the type I already uploaded. The engine sound samples, similar to GIN files of NFS. Well,as I search trough the other files,I found theese, here are th...

Re: Codemasters common .BDL audio archive
Well,I never really succeded in looping theese but I will try again :D What do you plan to do with these sounds? In addition to 4 audio samples, these BDL files contain a lot of tables. Such as 1024-elements table of RPMs, 8 to 14 tables with values about 0.9 - 1.4, and some more. I think they are ...

Re: Codemasters common .BDL audio archive
Yes I need more samples. Each of the 3 files you sent contain the same type of engine sounds. 4 in each file. And considering their length, all the files on this screenshot are the same. p.s. there's no need for "loops at different RPMs". These accel/decel files can be used for this. You ...

Re: Codemasters common .BDL audio archive
ok, thats what I was able to decode from your files http://www61.zippyshare.com/v/g3oOSSQZ/file.html Please note that this is only the first attempt, assuming it is 44100Hz and decoding is not precise yet. This is really a sort of XA ADPCM designed by codemasters specifically to encode engine sound...

Re: Codemasters common .BDL audio archive
Well, mu-law is interesting, but these DBL files doesn't look like mu-law to me. As I said before, more like ADPCM. What would you like to be decoded first: this or NFS? Well,I think that this archive type is more important because it's used by a lot of games from Codemasters and should be common.....
