Re: LEGO Indiana Jones 2 [PSP] - *.FIB
So I stumbled upon this about 4 years later when trying to work on Lego Batman 3. I'm putting my findings here in case someone else comes across a .fib file. FibHeader (20 bytes): CHAR[4] Header // Should be "FUSE" CHAR[4] VersionInfo // I saw 1.00 DWORD EntryCount DWORD Zero // Was always...

Re: Echo Of Soul .u file encryption
I figured that the game's exe was more or less useless because of its encryption, but will do for next time.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Echo Of Soul .u file encryption
Echo Of Soul (http://www.aeriagames.com/playnow/eosus/final_para_game_overview) recently hit open beta, and I've been tweaking some existing software to extract the game's unreal packages (and sound/movie files, but that's not relevant for this). I've been doing well until I hit the game's .u files ...

Re: BoI SQP Files
In that case, can you recommend any good tutorials for learning about reversing formats via a disassembler? So far I've been working through http://thelegendofrandom.com/blog/sample-page. Obviously I'm not expecting to be able to pull this stuff off overnight, but I would appreciate a nudge in the r...

Re: BoI SQP Files
I was interested in the process behind how you were able to determine the workings of the format. Did you find it out somewhere else? Were you using a disassembler or just attacking the format without one?

Re: BoI SQP Files
Ekey,
Thanks a bunch! Do you mind sharing how you got the info? I'm fairly interested in the process behind this as well.

BoI SQP Files
Hello! I know this is a somewhat older game, but I've been doing some work on it for the purposes of learning how to reverse archive formats. The game is Battle of the Immortals, and the file extension is .sqp. What I've figured out so far: The file looks something like Header ---unknown---- zeroes ...

Dragon's Prophet idx and .p### files
Just putting this here in case anyone in the future wants a go at these files for the MMO Dragon's Prophet (the game is still in beta so this may change): .idx file structure (index file for each package) Bytes 0 -23: 24 byte header Followed by file table entries which are 33 bytes + the file name B...

Re: Genghis Khan
So I'm a bit late to the party, but how did you find/generate the file table?
