Re: Havok binary files
Gee, if only we had this information back in 2015 when it actually mattered. Thanks anyway I suppose.

Re: editing Havok 2015 animation files (hkx) ?
Sorry, you're out of luck. Havok is notorious for being highly obscure and customizable, that means for every slight format change a brand-new tool has to be written, and there's nobody here who's interested in the engine.

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
Sorry for digging up a dormant thread but has there been any latest news about an easier way of getting the game models? Absolutely nobody has cared about this game for past 5 years, what makes you think that all of a sudden there would be new work on it?? Hell even I've given up over three years a...

Sorry, man you're 6 years too late. There is no news, and there never will be, because nobody knows that this game exists.mcc26 wrote:Is there new news about Compressor or Repack BIG files ???

Re: Convert "FFXIV hkx animation" to Blender/Unity/Maya?
Havok content is notorious for being impossible to extract because it is highly customizable, every single game has slightly different hkx files. So you need someone to write a new tool for every single game, but Xentax isn't interested. (trust me, I've tried)
Sorry, you're just out of luck.

Re: [REQ][PC]Sleeping Dogs .big files
Hi, I have a quick questions about animations. I unpacked Big file and I have a lot of bin animations files in the folder. Is it possible to read those files? Can I unpack those animations to any 3d format so i can view it in 3dsmax or other programs?! For the past FIVE YEARS I've been trying to ge...

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
Well you can extract the character models and textures and use them for whatever you want, but sadly that's pretty much it. You can't modify the game at all: When you unpack a .BIG file, you'll end up with "../SleepingDogsDefinitiveEdition/*NameOfBig*/Data/". If you move the Data folder into the mai...

Re: [Request] Sleeping Dogs Model Files
It's great to see someone still interested in this game even after all these years!
Tried it out, works perfectly. Thank you very much to you and daemon!

Just out of curiosity, what are you planning on using it for? After all this time, we still can't really modify anything worthwhile because of the archive unpack problems.

Sorry, you're out of luck. Havok formats are incredibly difficult, even with all the documentation nobody has been able to figure it out.zweihard wrote:Would anyone mind helping me out with obtaining the animation data for Dark Souls III?

Re: Get Original Wwise Filenames With SoundbanksInfo.xml
It is very simple, I already did it several times for Far Cry 3, Sleeping Dogs, and Rising Storm 2. You don't need to know anything about filetypes, just basic programming.
However, different games have different xml files. Can you post it?
