Re: Overlord *.pvp/.prp/.vpk files reimport

I didn't really used this re-inject feature of this tool, but maybe you have to adjust the size of the new file to match the original one.
So you have to produce WAV file that is smaller than original and then fill it with zeroes using hex editor to match the size.

Re: Overlord *.pvp/.prp/.vpk files reimport

If you want to just replace WAV file data, the easiest solution is to use File Stripper http://wiki.xentax.com/index.php/Extraction_tools#File_Stripper It has re-import option. But if you plan to do more advanced stuff, then you should consider reverse engineering those file formats and write some c...

Re: Star Stable Online - CSA & TGA files

i managed to decrypt some of the encrypted texture files, and then i turned them into .dds images so programs like GIMP and noesis can now open them normally.
Can you describe your method?

Re: Partisans 1941 quickbms script?

Well, there are several already existing scripts and tools for UE4,
you should try them all first https://zenhax.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t= ... 251#p56251

Re: Partisans 1941 quickbms script?

You need to tell us more details like:
- What files are in this game? What are the file extensions?
- What are you trying to do? You want to translate this game?
- What methods did you already tried to unpack the files?

Also please upload samples and screenshots of the issue if possible.

Re: Jack Orlando graphics PM/PBM format?

According to documentation from github, this palette has 128 colors and 1 entry takes 2 bytes of space which means this should be 16-bit palette. But as far as I know BMP needs 32-bit RGBA palette with 256 colors for 8-bit images http://wiki.xentax.com/index.php/BMP_Image That was the conversion I f...

Re: Jack Orlando graphics PM/PBM format?

Ok, so we're close. But I'm not sure how to convert 128-color palette for BMP output, I've never done something like that and I hope that someone more experienced could help with this. :)

Re: Jack Orlando graphics PM/PBM format?

I have made some progress on this file format. Now, pixel data can be viewed in IrfanView. Here is how converted AUTOJAC.PBM looks like https://i.imgur.com/tZHoRXU.png But as you can see, I am struggling with converting palette for BMP output. Anyway, here is my code https://github.com/bartlomiejdud...

Re: Jack Orlando graphics PM/PBM format?

I have tried to make a working tool, but it seems that standard RLE implementations in Python doesn't work for me in this case. As far as I know there are several types of RLE algorithms and the "flag" type (RLEB) needs to be used here. You will find more info on this site https://moddingwiki.shikad...

Re: Jack Orlando graphics PM/PBM format?

Yeah, you could try to cut those 4 bytes at the beginning with some hex editor
and then use compression scanner https://zenhax.com/viewtopic.php?t=23

I know it may be a long shot, but did you try contact original author of the MajestyLibrary tool? It seems that his website is still online https://www.oocities.org/the_rancid/dl-games.htm and you can find some contact info on the site and in the readme file. He may share some source code if you ask...
