I need to know what the bits in pixel_format mean (when the image uses DXT1, DXT5 or raw encoding) and how to find the width and height of the image.

There are no tools for those files. Also "kfc_dir" index file seems to be encrypted.

You can try to download Media Wiki software and then setup it on your local host with XAMPP or something similar and then import all articles to your local instance.

I have a wiki backup from this year done by Special pages > Export , so nothing is lost yet. It is just a XML export of all articles, so no sensitive data like passwords are involved. If Mr Mouse agrees, I could probably share it publicly here. BTW, wiki is still up on the server. It just can't rend...

Those archives from Crossfire (PC) looks very similar to standard Jupiter Engine REZ files, but they seem to be encrypted.

Well, you have to do more experiments with hex editing and try to adjust it to match expected result.
That's the only advice I can give you after my research. :)
