Re: Model or Not?

All of the model parts seem to be collapsed down or overlapping to the point of being non-sensical. wouldn't it be funny to solve this riddle? Not to get correct positions, just understand what this gnc is good for :D bodyparts.png (There's some floating point tables from 0x1A0 to 0x3950. Might be ...

Re: Model or Not?

but I haven't been able to successfully get a full model using hex2obj. the tool was never intended to get full models (other than simple models) I try to get the parameters for a first submesh then usually do some coding (https://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=15955) I've determined there a...

Re: Mephiles' Crystalline Model

All I want is mephiles' crystalline model, but nobody seems to care. Wonder why? No game name, no platform name, no sample. unfinished: https://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=9924&p=81414&hilit=Sonic+the+Hedgehog#p81414 Seems there was a converter 9 years ago but it's lost in space and time ...

Re: PS All-Stars Battle Royale(final version ea05-cskn)

Afair the scripts in this thread were used for cskn files with the signature 45413035 (EA05 - as the thread title says, surprise :D )

But fat_princess.c0.p0.cskn from your zip for example starts with 4D4F444C "MODL".

Re: Aggressive Inline Levels

I'm not sure. I was actually able to get several models out of the .GEO file by using a QuickBMS script, including some of the missing ones. Here's a link: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/500066729024815117/587308192929939476/AggressiveInlineZITto3ds.bms yeah, those "famous" bms scripts for ...

Re: Aggressive Inline Levels

I'm sure because I'm very familiar with the game. But anyway, here's a comparison from the first level: Thank you! As you can see several things are missing. Lots of trees, some trickable objects like planters, bike racks, etc. Trees, planters and bike racks are used in different levels, aren't the...

Re: Aggressive Inline Levels

I have tried to use the level tool, but the problem is that it misses a lot of objects on import. I did a little bit of digging through the original .GEO and .INS files and found that a lot of objects are defined with a 'Def', like GlassDef or CarDef, in the .GEO file, but in the .INS file those sa...

Re: Aggressive Inline Levels

Hey, sorry to necro an old thread, but I have come across a little bit of documentation written by one of the THUGPro developers on the level format: https://github.com/Morten1337/io_thps_scene/blob/zaxis-importer/_zaxis_notes.txt https://github.com/Morten1337/io_thps_scene/blob/zaxis-importer/impo...

Re: Extracting simple models

After doing some research, I assume this file is a kind of DW - TriStrip FFFF, face indices in character_model_210.sptki are Words (unsigned shorts) afaics. Problem is to get proper point clouds (there's many normals. Mesh structures I found seem to be arranged as spheres:) character_model_210-sptk...

So, how do you scale these ones properly?
You'll need to ask Fiammanera628:

Re: NFS Hot Pursuit DLC 3d models (PS3/X360)

Any news? I made a quick 'n dirty quickhack for XBOX _model.dat files, so don't expect too much: Make_obj-NFS_HP-XBOX.zip NFS Hot Pursuit, XBOX version ### Not to be used with PC _model.dat files! ### You'll need Make_obj-NFS_HP-XBOX.exe and dlls from Make_obj-NFS_HP-XBOX.zip (and Hex2obj_0.24x.exe...

Re: [Noesis] Parsing bones

Those names are just temporary, I will consider them after solving my current problem :D You need to print out the parenting IDs to understand whether they fit. And the bone names list may help to start with important bones only: 1. CHEEK_00_L 2. CHEEK_00_R 3. CHEEK_01_L 4. CHEEK_01_R 5. CHEEK_02_L...

Re: [Noesis] Parsing bones

First of all: update for use of parenting indices is missing in your script in the opening post. Parent index is still -1 for all bones: bones.append( NoeBone(i, boneNames , boneMat, None, -1) for i in range(0, boneCount): boneNames.append("bone_" + str(i)) whaaat? You can't seriously handle bone na...
