Quick update, I got the hashing algorithm and a program that can extract the MSELF with names. http://crazycatz00.x10host.com/KH/files/app_KH25Tools.7z (For the cautious, it's written in .NET, so Reflector or something can open.) Well, I cracked the format myself. Was able to convert to a BMP, edit, convert back, and it all work right in-game.

I'm trying to modify the font used in Kingdom Hearts 1, and hit a little snag. There's 2 fonts in the game: "menu/sysfont.bin" and "kanji.knj". I can modify the sysfont (it uses the same format as the "sys.bin" font in KH2, in fact), but I can't get at kanji.knj. I get trash reading it like sysfont,...
