Of Light and Darkness: The Prophecy (.SND)

Known so far:
22k, mono, ADPCM (?)

The header is RIFF LOG fmt. The file can be played once LOG is replaced with WAVE in the hex editor, but the sound is garbled. Anyone encountered this format before?

Sample:
https://my.mixtape.moe/jweqkz.ZIP

Thanks in advance.

Re: Tetsujin Returns [3DO] .stream

I know this is an old thread, but eh: 1. Analyze and extract chunks from .stream files using ZStream Reader. 2. Import .sound files into Audacity using Import Raw function (Little-endian, Mono, 22.050 khz). 3. Save in whatever format you want. 4. Enjoy. This applies to original Tetsujin. For Tetsuji...

Rhapsody of Zephyr text (*._AC?)

Hello everyone. I'm trying to translate Rhapsody of Zephyr from Japanese to English, but the apparent files with the script appear to be compressed and only display gibberish if checked thorugh a text/hex editor. Anyone has a clue if it's possible to decompress/decrypt them? Here is a bunch of _AC f...

Re: Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes FSB crypted

Hello again. I know I'm kinda late, but I found an option to convert the files some time ago. Use Luigi Auriemma's FSB extractor with the password I provided earlier on the music archive. Other archives have different passwords I never bothered to pick... anyway, the extractor has the option to decr...

Eternal Darkness (*.aud, *.sam)

Hello again. I'd like to request help on this format. Tried to understand it for quite some time without getting anywhere at all. I'd like to know how the sounds can be converted or played on PC. Here are some files for research: http://www.sendspace.com/file/7nkr36 It contains 2 sounds in .aud form...

Re: remember me

Wavescan works perfectly on pck files with music in it, however, I wonder if there's a way to decode it?
ww2ogg with 'packed_codebooks_aoTuV_603' gives files with only 186 bytes in size.

Re: [REQ][PC]Sleeping Dogs .big files

I'm sorry if this is offtopic but I'm interested in ripping the music from the game. I extracted the data from .pck files (using the script from Assassin's Creed topic) and found audio streams there (wwise), but ww2ogg tool tells about 'unknown header' or stuff like that (forgot what it exactly said...

Re: Red Faction/Summoner PS2 (.VMU)

Thanks for your help, but result isn't so satisfying.
vgstream plays it with tons of stutter, and length is around 3 times longer.

Red Faction/Summoner PS2 (.VMU)

Okay, here is the deal. I've extracted the music (.VMU files) from RF_PS2.VPP. Files can be converted by MFAudio. BUT: Here is one of these files. Converts without hitch. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/48495960/faction.vmu The second file. Gives only 1-2 seconds of stutter. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/484959...

Re: Any suggest for a rippable PC game with huge monster sou

For monsters - Doom 3, Quake series. Or even Call of Cthulhu.
About dragons - I dunno. You can try Skyrim.

Re: Project Eden (EDS|PDS)

Thanks for replying.
It actually worked, but sounds still sounds like garbage.
In the meantime, I'll try to figure out the frequency. Some tests showed that it's somewhere in the between 22050 and 44100.
Thanks again.

Re: Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes FSB crypted

The pass is:

Here, one of the files:

FSBExt tells it's IMA ADPCM 44100 and 48000, 2 channels, 16 bit. But VLC and Winamp (with a couple of plugs) failed to play them. Anyone can help with it?
