Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

Thank you! This is the code I've used on Enrique's files (As a side note, he's referenced as "ben" in the character files, which finally confirmed my suspicion he was designed after the likeness of Benicio del Toro. Ha!: AddDataToNamedSkeleton "ben_rhand_pose" "chr_common.mop" "02_ben_Rhand_INITIAL_...

Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

MrAdults, are there commands to let you skip over armatures/bones that are included by default? I've tried the obvious suspects like SkipBySkeletonName, SkipByBoneName etc but to no avail. edit: pictures eg. Armature for Anna's hair even though the txt file with the correct code was used to only hav...

Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

I'm no where close to the level that MrAdult is at, so I appreciate it very much that I wasn't forgotten about. Ha! Mariokart, as MrAdults said himslef, he "never would've gotten involved with this thread if that hex block you pasted hadn't looked like it started off with VIF cycle and mask command...

Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

I had to add ReparentObjectSkeletonAndRebaseWeights for the cinematic models, cause they reference a bunch of different poses. Bloody Hell. Thank you so much! I noticed that the in-game skeleton was being used for the cutscene models with the older script, but since I'm still sorting stuff and appl...

Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

Sure, by no means expected, but if you still have something to spare after giving mario the 500. :) There's a paypal direct link here: http://www.richwhitehouse.com/index.php?content=inc_about.php So it is you! I wasn't sure. I'll use that Paypal link then. Probably not his month, as I will compens...

Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

I'll be putting a build of Noesis up in a little bit that supports this. It also supports the dumped Tekken 5 models by scanning through for the seemingly-reliable initial VIF commands to set the cycle and write out the element count, then using that offset to find the address fixup for every other...

Haha, OK, you've got a point there!

Very much looking forward to it!

Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

If you feel like that attitude makes life easier for you, go for it. Maybe I just run in kinder circles.:-) But I feel it's pretty obvious that a person looking to compensate any coding job with a pathetic 15$ does neither value nor respect other people's time. Should be fairly easy to avoid such pe...

Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

Now now guys, calm down. Before talking about banning people maybe take into consideration that not every person on the Internet is a cheap lying bastard. The only reason Mr mariokart hasn't been compensated YET is that I didn't expect anyone to jump on board and look into this so quickly and effici...

Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

Magnificent! I love the art direction in this game. Finally there's a way to really appreciate it.

Can I try?
Also, looks like it's time you PM me your paypal info :-)

Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

Whatever Namco were cooking up back in 2004, you're totally on to it! Your conclusion even makes sense to me (just how you got there is still a blur) :-D
Incredible work, mariokart!
Thanks for the insightful documentation! You certainly left on a cliff hanger :-)

Re: [PS2] Death by Degrees UV extraction (500$ compensation)

Thank you so much for your input, Gh0stBlade! I wish it was only the complexity of face indices posing a challenge for me :-/ As I said, the way you guys look at code is rocket science level stuff and then some. Kudos!

With voice acting like this you can't go wrong. https://www.sendspace.com/file/mmphbi Hahaha, Wow, I have never heard these! I've played through this game too many times for me to be comfortable saying it here, but I've never come across any of these lines. Some of them are hilarious. How did you c...
