It's because in mul files also contains in-game cinematics and audio track for it. If quickbms exits without error, try to convert those fsb - they should be ok.

Mul files are very similar to Deus Ex 3 muls - every mul contain several fsb files (1-6) in which there are mono mp3 files (in PC version) - but with new starting offset to data (0x2000), so old tools doesn't work. You think its Lara, cuz its the biggest cdrm? I don't believe Lara is a 70 MB mesh. Maybe around ~1 MB. 70 MB sounds like a complete scene-file or something else really big. The biggest meshes have a 0x03 starting-byte. It makes no sense to guess where lara could be. We have to analyze the other me...

testing my bms script for .tiger unpacking with parsing drms and unpacking related cdrms... on smallest patch.000.tiger (212 Mb) i've extracted 15168 CDRMs, "count occurrences" of "CDRM" text in patch.000.tiger gives 15169 occurrences (same 15169 for "NEXT" text, except 5 occurrences in translation)...

Yeah but after decompressing with ZLIB, files have new compression. You can see here examples ( _dec.dat ) . Ekey, tried on TDU2v082 - all extracted files are different by size, but all equal by content.
it seems like something wrong with offset calculation in your program. :(
it's not an encryption - all files extracted with bms script are normal.

OrangeC, latest fsbext supports fsb5 files, but can't rebuild ogg stream and saves raw vorbis-encoded data (unplayable).
but i think it can be used for batch conversion of fsbs from x360.
ps: is there any tools for extracting .pc_resourcelib files or fsbs are extracted by "FSB5" signature search?
