Mortal Kombat XL (Xbox One)

Hi, I like to reverse MK games make soundtracks or access character renders, MKX was easy to reverse with the tools out there using the easily accessible PC Files. But when they Launched MKXL It had new Characters from Kombat Pack 2 and a New stage that are not present in MKX, but they did not relea...

Hiya, was wondering if there was any progress with that script? I tried to execute / compile howfie's c++ script online but just errors. :/

Re: Mortal Kombat X sound format

I tried what was suggested above (I am working on Scorpions VO file SND_SPEECH_SCORPION_ENG.XXX) and no matter what no FSB header. This is Madness! I can see in the file the packed .wav file references, if I look at the .fev file I can see the 3 .fsb file containers but when I look at the source dat...

Re: Mortal Kombat X sound format

Has anyone managed to extract character audio for moves/SFX/battle voices yet? No. I have been trying. daemon1 says you can manually cut the fsb's out (I did this with injustice by searching the FSB5 header) but MKX doesn't seem to have FSB headers. I did a dump with the tools posted in this script...

Re: Mortal Kombat X .xxx

btw, a guy pmed me on gildor's forum saying he had models for mkx all figured out using his noesis script, so if he's cool ya'll should be getting your models and textures soon. i think zaramot was also interested in doing a script. gildor said he'd still try too. so patience and time. now i know y...

Re: Mortal Kombat X .xxx

Thanks for your script man, awesome stuff. I saved it as a .bms but quick BMS didn't seem to like it, tried putting it in with the BC7 Extractor scripts no go. I am trying to rip the Texure2D files from PC. Tried it on the file LoadScreen_TYM_TinLion.XXX extracted Texture2D files) and Char_Kitana_Di...

Re: Mortal Kombat X .xxx

not strange at all. those images you think are DXT5 with blocks swizzled are actually BC7. http://snag.gy/g4qlM.jpg model format is similar to injustice. i'm sure gildor will support it soon. http://snag.gy/Eeure.jpg hey man, I would also like to know how you reversed it back to .dds format. I am c...

Re: Saints Row 1 files

Hi, I looked at your .rar file you have SR1 and SR2 files in there for mutile formats. I am guessing you just want the textures regardless of console. Checkout this SR Wiki it has a link to a whole lot of tools, i tried to run them but my system is 64-bit and it didn't seem to like them, try on a 32...

Re: Help with PSX game Mortal Kombat Mytholgies: Sub-Zero

Links removed. All I can say is it's really very clear, it sounds to me like a direct rip. Usally when it's recorded and Asembled it sounds like ass not only that but MKM:SZ has no sound test, and he has every single track in the game, at this level of quality.

Re: How to rip images from psx games.

If its the same game who cares what systems it's on :)
But if you are putting the modified files back in I understand...
Did you search the Header of the file then see if there was a BMS script for it?
