Re: Survarium models (from the makers of STALKER)

The main weapon files still work for me, it's once again the attachments that make problems. For some i get an "no + function for undefined" error(line 394), but most of the time it would import an object without any vertices whatsoever. I'd really appreciate if you could look into that, i've provid...

Re: W40K Inquisitor Martyr [request]

Thank you for your efforts. It'll probably take a year till i understand enough of the basics to get usable results myself, but i realize you can't always get things served on a silver tray.
I appreciate the startup help.

W40K Inquisitor Martyr [request]

Would anyone be willing and have a look at the Inquisitor Martyr models? It's running on an upgraded version of the Van Helsing game engine. I noticed the extractor provided in this thread still works, the importer, however, unfortunately doesn't. I've provided a sample, both of a model (.vhm) and t...

Re: Request help regarding Warhammer Online .diffuse texture

Ok i managed to get Intel GPA running with WAR, so at least i can get those textures of the models i meet in the game.
Strangely, it sometimes gives me two almost identical textures, one in DXT1 and one in DXT3.
Does that help in any way?

Re: Request help regarding Warhammer Online .diffuse texture

There goes my optimism i had when the first two files i opened in texture finder were completely restorable. I've had a look the Sundering mod for Medieval2, which uses WAR models, and the way it looks to me they used Ninja-ripped textures too. I'll try to find a pattern so that some might at least ...

Re: Request help regarding Warhammer Online .diffuse texture

Indeed you're right, makes me feel ashamed that i didn't even try it myself before asking for help. I just didn't think it could be so easy, when all those years noone ever wrote a converter or something. Well, not exactly easy, texture finder usually requires still some tinkering. Thank you very mu...

Request help regarding Warhammer Online .diffuse textures

Hi, the game's static meshes and textures were accessible for quite some time thanks to nif tools, now recently Machinima Studio made it possible to convert the .geom character models too. Now i'm asking, has anyone had any success opening the character textures? They're .diffuse, .specular, .mask a...

Re: Survarium models (from the makers of STALKER)

Marvellous. I downoaded the game just yesterday and it worked with everything i tried, so i suppose both the extracton and model import scripts are in order.
Has anyone found out which bind_pose is necessary for the optical attachments?

I can confirm that both tools work on everything i tested. Which was pretty much all the characters, weapons, vehicles and most of the items.
Thank you both very much for your work.

Thanks a lot!
Some files still don't work, i've included those i found so far.
Only if you still have the motivation of course.

Re: Rage (idTech5) model format md6

That would actually be most helpful.
Its the Wolfenstein: The New Order (BMD6MODEL) plugin for Ultimate Unwrap 3D Pro (x86) v3.x (32-bit)

Re: Rage (idTech5) model format md6

Has anyone tinkered with Wolfenstein Old Blood a bit? The bms extraction script works fine, so does the vtex method. The W-TNO tool works too, but there's still the 65535 vertices limit. The model-converting bms script (Wolfenstein convert2.bms) on the other hand doesn't work, and neither does the U...

Re: Wolfenstein .Pages files (idtech5 virtualtextures)

The vtex method works nicely (thanks again for that). _vmtr.pages doesn't give me any files at all. the c01p1.pages (and so on) seem to be purely level architecture textures. That leaves the chunk1-13_vmtr.pages, they contain the character, weapon and object textures, and they're the only ones i'm i...
