Re: Death Stranding (PS4)

Still digging in. That routine is a bit of a tangle and the IDA decompiler is missing out on entire registers since it cant make sense of some of the higher-level intents of the SSE and AVX simd. RCX isnt always zero but rather RDX and RCX are ultimately going to become the upper and lower halfs of ...

5) Decrypting data by provided by MD5 hash (probably lpMixedKey using at the end, until I figured it out -> if dwSomeDataSize....) Int32 dwEncryptedSize = dwChunkSize >> 4; Int32 dwSomeDataSize = dwChunkSize & 0xF; if (dwEncryptedSize) { for (Int32 j = 0; j < dwEncryptedSize; i++) { lpBuffer[i] ^= ...

Re: Death Stranding (PS4)

Lookin good 👌👌 I got some C++ code up here too https://github.com/Wunkolo/DecimaTools Mind slapping a license on that project? I'm planning on rewriting ProjectZeroDawn to C++ when the PC port releases and I'd love to have a C++ point of reference. Sure! It's just MIT Great job! Do you looked code ...

Re: Death Stranding

Murmur3 seed is "answer to everything" number "42" and it seems to just use a chain of salted(`0x0FA3A9443,0x0F41CAB62,0x0F376811C, 0x0D2A89E3E` interleaves with an input int) murmur3 hashes xored with the next 16 bytes. The Murmur3 implementation is basically the one found here, where "seed" is alw...

Re: Death Stranding (PS4)

Death Stranding is now released on steam. Will there be PC support in the future? PS4 tool can just work with PC. Files must be almost the same. It's a different format, the previously mapped out structures will not work. PC Magic is 0x21304050, PS4 is likely 0x20304050, but it could also be that D...

Re: Death Stranding

I think it deserves its own thread, rather than relying on one persons proprietary and obfuscated tools that don't even work on the PC version of the game. This is generally for interfacing with the game archive format rather than just interest in the 2d/3d assets.

Death Stranding

Game just came out, it's protected with Denuvo so it can be a bit of a pain picking through a runtime dump of the executable. Format seems to be a different version of the Decima engine than Horizon Zero Dawn and the file format looks quite different 0x20304050 for Horizon Zero Dawn 0x21304050 for D...

Re: Maplestory 2

Can confirm that my dumper still works with public release of the game. Though there are these"m2u" files though that are used for user-generated content. I'll poke around the .exe for some info. https://ugc.maplestory2.nexon.net/item/e9/c5/11850008/e9c5f2e3-adda-4cf4-9fa8-94557f4d2837-291764977139...
