Re: Battleborn tools
Thanks daemon1, it works great. Is there any way to get the bones?

Re: Unreal Tournament PS2 (*.lin)
Thanks! I wasn't able to get your tool to work for either UT or Unreal Championship 2 (just to try another *.lin format), but it works perfectly for Magna Carta. It seems that UT's *.lin files are more similar to Magna Carta's decompressed files than its compressed *.lin files.

Re: Unreal Tournament PS2 (*.lin)
Thanks for the information. The UT PS2 *.lins are sort of different from those that you described, but the zlib signatures seem to be there. 0x00 is always 7E 5D CF 15, followed by the name of the *.lin file, and then the standard Unreal name table. I'm seeing three different zlib signatures (78 01,...

Re: Unreal Tournament PS2 (*.lin)
Sorry for the huge bump, but I've been looking at this stuff again. It seems that, unlike normal Unreal packages, the *.lin packages have multiple name tables (and maybe multiple import/export tables). Maybe it would be possible for the packages to be read by the PC version of UT by cutting out ever...

Unreal Alpha *.ucx File
Hi. I was wondering if anyone could figure out how to open this file that's from a recent Unreal Alpha leak. I think this file type was originally going to be an Unreal package file, like *.u files are today. UTPT and UEViewer don't recognize this as an Unreal file, but that's all I know. The file i...

Unreal Tournament PS2 (*.lin)
Hi, I was wondering if somebody could look at this *.lin file from the PS2 version of Unreal Tournament. I believe this archive contains *.u, *.int, *.uax, *.unr, and *.utx files, which are system (for both *.u and *.int), sound, map, and texture files, respectively. The full archive is somewhat lar...

Re: Models and animations from PS2 UT?
I don't know enough to extract the files.
Hopefully somebody out there does. I do know that the PC version of UT has the PS2ConvertCommandlet that can make .lin files. I'm not sure if it's the same thing that Epic/DE used to make their .lin files, though.

Re: Models and animations from PS2 UT?
Thanks, I was missing common.lin.
In the first link you posted, I got those models from a zip file that had a few models in .max format, which is why I was able to make that pack. I'm mainly looking for the skaarj's animations, and maybe the weapons.
Thanks again for your help.

Models and animations from PS2 UT?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone here knows how to extract models and animations from the PS2 version of Unreal Tournament. I used UMDextract to extract the largest files I have, which are PSX2SHIP.umd and PSX2LINS.umd (none of the other files are nearly as large, and they weren't UMD files). They cont...
