Should allow for unpacking the .fat/.dat file archives, I haven't tested it myself though but it seems pretty straightforward on how to use.

Re: Dying Light PAK
Oh I see, how strange that it doesn't work with the language files.
I guess the game also won't load other .pak files so you could build on the existing data with say Data04.pak
(And while Data03.pak is just a placeholder for future patches I guess it also gets checked by the game for validation.)

Re: Dying Light PAK
You don't need to repack the .pak archives. :) C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\DyingLight\out\Data\ That's where you can place the files you modified and it'll override the packed version. Here's a small test I did with the .scr (script?) file that controls the intro movies in order to skip those. http:...

Re: Pillars of Eternity BETA - Archives
I have not used it but since it's using Unity - and if it's without any major modifications to the engine - the "Unity Asset Explorer" tool will probably work to at least open the packed files.

Maybe it's like Warface where the tool can work if it has the right "key" to the pak files?
(So someone would need to find what the decrypt key for Ryse is.)

Re: Dark Souls 2 file formats
Is it possible to extract PC bhd/bdt files? Rick's tools crash. PC archives have both encrypted headers and encrypted files within its data. Due to the newness of the game and the fact that multiplayer is central to the game, I will not be providing any of my personal research for Dark Souls II pub...

Re: Cabela's Big Game Hunter Pro Hunts
There's a file in the main game folder, I forgot what it was called but if you open it with notepad it will point towards all the other packed files, this is the same as in Dangerous Hunts 2013 and what you do is that you unpack all those files and then rename this little file so the game will be fo...

Re: Cabela's Big Game Hunter Pro Hunts
what i am doing wrong? :| That's exactly the error I get as well, thought that perhaps the script was for the console version of the game or some such but I don't know what that "T" operator actually means. Tried the above command line parameter as well but it gives the same error message. (Also tr...

Re: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Well that would explain why some surfaces are so pixelated up close, how unfortunate if that's so.
(Normal map texture being compressed and of a lower resolution than the diffuse/base texture if that's all that's in the high-res archive.)

Re: Strider (.PAK ) [Xbox360]
Would be nice to know what's in those archives, particularly the full global.pak and shell.pak, I'll send a PM with the smaller archives since I believe you still can't post the files directly due to the issue with copyright content. However those are from the PC version so they will likely not matc...

Re: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
I dunno what the algo used for .localconfig. Maybe aes with other key. I can't check because pirated (ALI213, FLT / Skidrow) versions dont work for me, but demo work perfect. (: From what I could tell by the decrypted config file it contains nearly all settings minus the screen resolution so the .l...

Thank you, that will do nicely.

Re: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Would it be possible to decode (decrypt?) the config file as well in addition to the game archives, would be nice to know what's stored in that and possibly also the profile file. (The game has two config files, one for settings and one for the user profile from what I can tell, also a .profile file...

Re: [REQ][PC]Crysis 3 .pak files
Thank you, unsure why it was taken down but hopefully this works with the retail data from the pre-load as well, or maybe it needs some update if they altered the encryption. Will be interesting to see what the config files and other data has. EDIT: Somewhat expected but yeah it didn't work with tha...
