Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer

Anyway, f'k all of this negativity, I only really intended to thank RandomTBush for all of his hard work and dedication to helping others out. I've been struggling to extract the models from BTTF for a while and RTB solved it within a few hours of me asking questions! Exceptionally cool! Thanks agai...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer

Instead of fighting, I have a question. Is there a way to separate UVs in blender or 3ds max? I'm porting the TWD:TFS models to MMD, and MMD struggles with transparency unless the hair mesh or whatever is split up into every possible section. Buuut the hair's uv is overlapping a lot, making it hard...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer

Okay, pretend I'm "The Dude" from Big Lebowski... Aww how cute! You want to pretend to be a movie character! I get it, you feel backed into a corner Again, you're confused "Dude", very confused! I don't feel backed into anything, least of all any corners, or your pathetic failed attempts to b...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer

Didnt you basically start out by saying you're not a legal expert? Yet somehow he needs to be one? I'm no legal expert either and dont assume that what I'm talking about is 100% correct.. Oh and when did he say "without permission", I must've missed that part, also there's not really been any game ...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer

No he's actually wrong, as long as you don't have money from this game and release for free you won't be sued, i know lots of examples so don't worry and please release it, i'm now kind of hyped about it and would really love to play it)) :) You don't hype up somebody about the game you make and th...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer

Hi guys, I just had a question. If I now use like for example Clementines character in a game that I have been privately working on, and release the game but other players wont be able to use Clementines character in the game, only game developer will be able to. Will I still get in trouble for it?...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer

Amazing work, RTB! Just one question; does the script auto-apply 'sub'textures such as the 'detail', 'ao' and 'brushnormal' textures - and do they work properly? I could never figure out how to get them to do so myself, they never seemed to have an effect. That would certainly be a “perfect world” ...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer

RandomTBush You're even more awesome than I thought! In exploring this thread a little deeper, I discovered that you have already solved the PS4 texture issue in a previous post! Oh hey, turns out that the PlayStation 4 version of Back to the Future: The Game (30th Anniversary Edition) actually has...

One more question though is how exactly to auto-import textures? I'm guessing you just have to just .dds or .png files in the same folder as .d3dmesh-es you are importing right?
I think either that, or put all .dds .png in a folder called Textures

Guess what time it is~ It's time to say "thank you very much!" Wow, I'm blown away by how quick and determined you have been to help everyone out here! I'm extremely grateful. Completely understand why you need to take a well deserved break from all of this and patiently await the D3DTX (GNF) scrip...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer

I'll need to write up an alternative script for those to treat them as GNF files instead of DDS, since they use the PS4's swizzling format. Anyway, there seems to be only two more little things that came up that I need to adjust before I can release the script -- while static meshes work now, there...

Re: Telltale Games "Almost-All-In-One" Model Importer

Wondering if any of you kind folks could help me please? I've managed to extract and import the d3dmesh and skl files from Back to the Future PS4 version, but when I used quickbms to convert the D3Dtx files, it did it, but the converted dds files were all scrambled and screwed up? Am I doing somethi...

Re: Can anyone help me please?

Could be a graphics card issue or possibly even an invalid XNA installation (or wrong version) but I can't remember the difference in exceptions thrown at the moment. You say you were able to get previous builds running fine? Are you using the same hardware as before to run it? Hey Ernegien ! Wow! ...

And Diatribal, I'm very sure you have an Intel GMA chipsets. Am I right? If that's so, there is no way to import and export FM models :( Hey BigBear, many thanks for your kind response! My graphics card is: Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family (I know, I know.. I need a new compute...
