Success. I extracted the stuff on the other person's computer, and ADX Explorer was able to extract it, then I used ADXUtil to convert it. Sounds fine.

Ok, I'm open to suggestions at this point. I know it's not a bum disc because it works in my PS2 fine.

I'm open to suggestions as to what else to try since it seems every attempt to get a chunk out of the archive file from the DVD itself just makes me end up with random junk instead of an actual piece.
