Description

This is a fully functioned program for extracting and creating DPK4 format game archives. Aside from the basic extraction functionality, it features a merging function, which allows you to merge any number of directories and other DPK4 archives into one.

To extract, just drag and drop the .dpk archive on to the program, and its files will be extracted into a subdirectory. To merge, specify the /md switch with the directory you want to add (e.g. /md=dataDir), or /mp with the path to another DPK4 archive you want to add (e.g. /mp=mymod.dpk). These switches can be specified multiple times to merge multiple directories and archives.

New archives are written to a temporary file first, so if merging fails, your original file is still intact.

Update Jan. 6, 2014 [2.0.1.0]: More accurately reflected file entry fields (i.e. changed types), and warned if trying to insert files that are larger than can be represented by unsigned 32 bit number (though no check on the DPK size itself).

All trademarks and copyrights mentioned implicitly or explicitly in this file or the software described below are property of their respective owners.

VT7AExt

Extracts files from VT7A and VSA archives.

Usage:  VT7AExt [/names= [/generatenames=] [/skipunknown]] [/info]

VT7AFiles/VSAFiles

Specifies the archive files to be processed. Wildcards are allowed.

/names=

Optional, specifies a text file that contains the real names of the files within the VT7A or VSA archive. When no name table is given or a file in the archive cannot be found within the name table, it will be extracted with a generic name.

/generateNames=

This parameter can be used to generate a table of additional (possible) file names during extraction. It needs an initial name file given via the /names parameter, since new names can only be extracted from known files.

/skipunknown

If a name file is given via the /names switch, the extraction of files without a matching name can be skipped.

/info

Prints the tool's version number.

A sample names.txt is included with this tool.

Description

This program extracts files from Scribblenauts Unlimited *.p archives, as defined by index.bin. Drag and drop index.bin to extract all files it references. If pmindex.xml is found in the same directory, file names will be loaded and directory structures will be made according to that information. You can also specify replacements for instances of "[platform]", "[texture]", and "[region]" within file names for easier exploring (e.g. enter "/t=dds" when extracting PC version files so that textures will have the extension ".dds" rather than ".[texture]" when extracted). To extract individual *.p files, list their names after the "/k" option, separated by commas, e.g. "/k=audio.p,1.p". Run program without arguments to see options. Source code is included.

Update 1.0.3.0 (Nov. 18, 2014): Now unpacks files from Scribblenauts Unmasked.

Unrpyc (Ren’py games)

Description

Unrpyc is a script to decompile Ren'Py (http://www.renpy.org/) compiled .rpyc
script files. It will not extract files from .rpa archives. For that, use rpatool
(https://github.com/Shizmob/rpatool), or UnRPA (https://github.com/Lattyware/unrpa).

Unrpyc needs some internal Ren'Py structures to work. You can either use the -b
argument to specify the directory in which renpy lies, place the renpy module
in your Python module search path, or copy the renpy folder to the unrpyc directory.

Usage options:

Options:
--version show program's version number and exit
-h, --help show this help message and exit
-c, --clobber overwrites existing output files
-b, --basedir specify the directory in which the renpy folder
resides. using this it is not necessary for the renpy
directory to be in python's search path, or in the
unrpyc directory.

Usage: unrpyc.py [options] script1 script2 ...

You can give several .rpyc files on the command line. Each script will be
decompiled to a corresponding .rpy on the same directory. By default, the
program will not overwrite existing files, use -c to do that.

This script will try to disassemble all AST nodes. In the case it encounters an unknown
node type, which may be caused by an update to Ren'Py somewhere in the future, a
warning will be printed and a placeholder inserted in the script when it finds a
node it doesn't know how to handle. If you encounter this, please open an issue
to alert us of the problem.

Gameloft .gla Extractor 1.0.2.0

Platform

Description

This tool allows extracting from .gla archives from recent Gameloft Glitch engine games. Drag and drop the .gla file over the extractor executable and it'll extract the files into a folder with the same name as the .gla file with "_extracted" appended to it. Extractor source and decryption routine included.

This version allows extraction of little endian paks and paks that do not have file names encrypted. If you're having problems, maybe the file isn't a CustomPak, but a scrambled ZIP. See this tool instead.

New options:
/n specifies pak has cleartext file names
/l specifies pak is little endian

Update July 23, 2014: Added support for new encryption key and compressed archives.

Evolution Engine Cache Extractor 1.0.1.0

Description

This program allows you to extract cache files (.toc/.cache) from games using Digital Extremes' Evolution Engine. Just drag and drop a cache file on to the program and it will extract it into a subdirectory containing the file name. Make sure both .toc and .cache files are in the same folder. You can also specify where you want the files to be extracted using the /d switch.

This release has a bit of optimization, writes the date of the file, and extracts cache version 16.

In-place update 2013-09-21: I forgot to move the latest build to the zip. Made a couple of tiny adjustments and reuploaded.
