Welcome to the Game File Research forum!
It is here where you can request support for your favourite games when they are not supported in MultiEx Commander or any other tool, or for game file formats in general. This community is helping eachother figuring out file formats.
There are a number of things you should know before you start asking for stuff.
IMPORTANT:
General registration requirements:1. You MUST fill in the REASON TO JOIN field
2. Some web domains are banned from allowed emailaddresses, get a valid emailaddress from reknown and trustworthy companies. Now for the forum rules:
1. Please provide a good description of what you want.
Good: "Hey, could you try and add support for Quake 100 *.PAK archives?"
Bad: "quake 100 pak????"
2. If possible attach a small example of a file or archive you wish supported.
You must register at this forum to be able to attach and view attachments to posts.
Registration is free.
If the archives are too large to post you can use the FileCutter tool that will extract the first and last part of the file or archive and zip them up so you can attach that or send it by email.
FileCutter:

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3792&p=32553#p325533. If possible provide a link to a demo of the game you wish supported. We don't have all games in the world, of course, and perhaps a demo will help us out. This may make point 2 (above) obsolete unless you wish support for a specific file.
4. If you read a post here and you already know of a tool that supports a requested file......post it, we'd like to know! That is the mission here. SHARE your knowledge! We are all in it together!
5. If you want to make any request, provide at least:- General information about the game, its developer(s) and publisher(s)
(There are a lot of gaming sites like IGN, MOBYGAMES, 3DGAMERS... which hold this information)
- Working download links where an unprotected demo or a full version (or parts of it) can be downloaded without registration or any technical restrictions.
6. If you like a post from someone else, thank him! Press the "thank post" button!
Many people here help out others for free. Don't be a jerk, thank them! Someone did something nice? Provide excellent information? Created a cool tool? Whatever it is that got you excited: give them the thanks they deserve! 7. If you post a new topic, use the topic ICONS to show what the new thread is about. For instance, is it a question? A remark? Some information? Etc.
8. Refrain from asking special requests from senior forum members and admins. Post a new thread and let all discuss the new problem in public. If nobody replies, too bad for you, your problem isn't interesting enough. Don't PM or contact us with your problem or risk being banned.
9. It is forbidden to complain about how a modding tool or method that's in development will "destroy" your game community. You are wrong, history has proven you wrong, and we will always side with the developers of those tools.
10. No porn 11. No spam 12. Act like an adult. Treat others with respect, especially those who are using their free time to help you. This last rule should be obvious, but it's also the most important rule here and people have gotten banned over it in the past. If you can't appreciate people using their free time to solve your problems, this forum isn't for you.
13. No warez14. No talking about warezLike Craptain said in another thread: It is assumed everyone here owns a legal copy of any game they discuss. Discussing warez is against the rules and can be bannable on this forum. Downloadable demos and other stuff you can legally get on your harddisk are fair game though.
Thanks and happy requesting or helping others!
