Using the latest noesis plugin I get this:

Image

It takes a while to load on Noesis but it does load, I waited about 30sec on a 5960x machine with dual titan X. With a lower machine it might take a minute or 2. UI should freeze. It will show you "Not Responding" but just wait for it.

I'll try to check what I can do about the textures if I have the time.

I know how to fix that can you please upload the Mview file of that Zelda model ? Since the author removed the marmoset preview.

I've tried the browser back doors. I've tried ninja ripper with the right version and everything and the right plugins. f4 to rip all doesn't do anything at all so I have t use force which is f12 for me. ninja ripper rips files but when I look at the in 3dviewer by taylor mouse nothing shows up even though the main mesh files are at least 534 mb. when I use the basic backdoor method I can get the .mview file but its only 9.41 mb and when I use mviewunpacker it makes an obj that is nothing. texture files are all there though. I have read through all the pages of this thread but none seem to address the occasional model that won't seem to give up it's meshes.

can anyone who is still able to rip models please rip this one for me? https://www.artstation.com/embed/6683135

I'd be so greatful and might see about making it worth someones time if that is allowed. I need it in an. OBJ format please. thanks in advance.

since you already have the mview file just use majidemo's Noesis python plugin to open that and export it. :D
if you already have Noesis and just need the plugin you can download it from this page
https://github.com/majimboo/mviewer/blo ... n_mview.py
click on "Raw" then right-click on page and "Save as"

I am going to try that now. I thank you so much for the information I am looking over the github instructions for use and updating my python. somewhat off topic I was curious if anyone has solved the sketchfab issue. for a while mozilla + ninja ripper worked great but now it has to same issues as mozilla+ ninja ripper for artstation. namely that data is ripped but no 3d data. there are a lot of models for reference there that I need but can't get and I am hoping someone's made break throughs on geting 3d data from sketchfab.

anyways again waiting for my files to download before trying out noesis. thanks for the help and tips.

Edit Noesis solved my main problems I cannot thank you guys enough it's working fine. thank you all so much for the help!

@zlksmlnu
open the mview file in Noesis with the python script, it looks good to me.

Some of mesh parts are missing:
(teeth, eyes, shoulder details)
Mesh of the left wing are damaged:

i'll bet those parts are contained in mesh1.dat and mesh4.dat, the only two with "indexTypeSize:4"
the data looks odd to me the more i look at it, there is a lot going on in those, varying strides, 3 byte indices etc. :?
edit: ah i see those are compressed, i need to add this compression to my bms script.
viewtopic.php?p=119352#p119352
so maybe those 2 files are not the problem :?

edit2
after looking at mesh1.dat in hex2obj i see some of your missing geometry, so maybe the indexTypeSize4
is causing problems here.

Can somebody help me import this 3D model to 3ds max completely ?

https://www.artstation.com/artwork/eLLY

I'm making a mod for skyrim, which will include Garrosh's skin as full body armor (playermodel), which will also be fully voiced.

Thanks a lot for your time, I hope someone here can help me.

Best of luck to all community members,

Gorlander

EDIT: It is for personal use.

what does that mean, "completely"?
Including bones and skinning?

Here are all textures and meshes:
I wouldn't know why you don't use majidemo's Noesis script on the mview file.
Then (from Noesis) export to wavefront obj for example (using advanced option: -objmtl).

as a matter of respect it would have been nice if you had mentioned here the name of the author at least: Saman Mahmoudi

Thank you shakotay2 for your answer. I'm sorry for not mentioning original author of the model, I didn't mean to be disrespectful, obviously you can see his name simply by opening provided link and by looking at the model. I didn't express myself very well, by "completely" I meant a tool which can help me rip the model and make it look exactly the same as the one on the artstation site, not like the one you posted in the attachment. Well, I may be asking for impossible, but I need the model to be as much alike that one as possible. So, can it be done ? I know that texture quality will be lowered when imported to 3ds max, but that attachment you provided surely isn't pleasing for an eye, don't you agree ? I hope that you know what I need.

I've tried using the maxscript that TaylorMouse provided on the first page of this thread, and I could only import an axe meshes, every other body mesh had some "undefined Integer conversion error ". I thought that, after 9 pages someone must have found the best solution, trying all of them takes a lot of time. To conclude, I need good looking model done in 3ds max for further use. If someone can do it for me, I'll be very greatful.

Again, thank you for your time.

Gorlander

The blender renderer might not be the very best plus xentax attachments require reduced jpg size so any judging on quality doesn't make too much sense in this context.

Here's a shot that compares a part of the model where it's Noesis on the left and from www.artstation.com on the right.
Not sure how both renderers treat the different materials (diffuse, gloss, normal, reflectivity) but for me the Noesis appearance doesn't look that bad:

majidemo's script, as I wrote, imho
You might export from Noesis as fbx for example. (Can't check how it looks imported to max then since I don't have max installed atm.)

(Type of export shouldn't have an influence on tex quality, though, since it's all jpgs ("JFIF") in the mview file.)

I made a little progress, and this result is very acceptable:

Still, I'm looking forward to making it even better. With a little brains and a lot of trials and errors, everything is possible.

UPDATE on progress:

This is how it currently looks like:

Image

As you can see, I added fur on the boots, but I am not sure if it looks better with or without the fur. Image without fur is in previous post. I need your opinions on this.

Well, that's pretty much it, I am pleased how it looks like for now. If someone is willing to help me make HD textures for this model, I would be very greatful. If not, I guess that the job is done.

Thanks in advance,

Gorlander
